The next day dawned grey and overcast, with the remnants of the previous night's rain still lingering in the air. Xavier and Dennie were already dressed and ready, their minds focused on the task ahead. They headed to the car, a sense of purpose driving their every move.
"So... we're going to Henry Emily's house?" Xavier asked as he slid into the passenger seat.
Dennie nodded, starting the engine. "Yeah, we're going to speak to him about the stuff going down in the pizzeria."
Xavier buckled his seatbelt and glanced at his brother. "Ah, I see. Then we're going to investigate the restaurant tonight."
Dennie nodded again, his eyes fixed on the road as they pulled out of the hotel parking lot. "Exactly. We need to get a clear picture of what's happening from Henry first. Then we'll see what we can uncover at the pizzeria itself."
The drive to Henry Emily's house took them through the outskirts of town, the landscape a mix of quaint homes and dense woods. After a few miles, they arrived at a modest, two-story house with a well-kept garden. The air was thick with anticipation as they approached the front door.
Dennie knocked firmly. "Henry Emily, it's Xavier and Dennie. We're here."
The door creaked open, revealing a tired and anxious-looking man in his late forties. Henry Emily's eyes were shadowed with worry, his hair disheveled. He gave the brothers a weak smile and stepped aside to let them in.
"Thank you for coming," Henry said, his voice heavy with fatigue. He led them into a cozy living room, where they sat down on a worn but comfortable couch. Henry took a seat opposite them, his hands fidgeting nervously.
Dennie leaned forward, his demeanor calm and reassuring. "Henry, we're here to help. Can you start by telling us everything you know about the recent incidents at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza?"
Henry took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "It started a few months ago, not long after we reopened. At first, it was just small things—objects moving, strange noises at night. But then it got worse. Employees started reporting seeing shadows, hearing voices. And last week, one of our night guards disappeared. We found his car still in the parking lot, but he was gone."
Xavier listened intently, his mind racing with possibilities. "And the missing children? How do they fit into this?"
Henry's face grew even more somber. "The missing children... That was back in 1985. Five kids vanished without a trace. The investigation back then went nowhere, and the place was shut down. We thought reopening would be a fresh start, but now it feels like the past is haunting us."
Dennie exchanged a glance with Xavier. "Do you have any idea who might be behind these new incidents? Anyone who might hold a grudge or have a motive?"
Henry hesitated, then shook his head. "I don't know. There's always been talk about William Afton, my old business partner. Some believe he had something to do with the children's disappearances, but he disappeared years ago. I don't know if he could still be involved or if it's someone else trying to stir up trouble."
Xavier leaned back, processing the information. "What about the staff? Anyone behaving suspiciously or who might have a connection to the old cases?"
Henry sighed. "We've had a few new hires since reopening, but none of them seem particularly suspicious. I've been trying to keep an eye on things, but it's hard to know who to trust."
Dennie nodded thoughtfully. "We'll need to speak to the staff and see the pizzeria for ourselves. Tonight, we'll conduct a thorough investigation. In the meantime, keep an eye out for anything unusual and let us know immediately if anything happens."
Henry agreed, his expression a mix of relief and worry. "Thank you, detectives. I just want to make sure no one else gets hurt."
As they left Henry's house, Xavier and Dennie felt the weight of the task ahead pressing down on them. The drive to the pizzeria that evening was silent, each brother lost in their thoughts. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the landscape, as they approached the ominous facade of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
Tonight, the real investigation would begin, and they would step into the heart of the mystery that had plagued this place for decades.
