Jackie's pov

I sat in my room bored out of my mind I didn't know what to think of even how to think. All that was running through my head was Cole and Alex the two of them where playing tricks in my mind and I don't like it. I picked up my phone of the wooden bed side table next to me.I had to tell Grace and Skylar where i am and what's happened. And hour had paced on the phone.I explained the whole wedding night and why I left. Thankfully they understood. After ages they both had to go but before I went Grace said something.something that made my heart stop and skip a beat

"Oh yeah..I forgot to ask did you hear what happened to Cole Kylie told me did she tell you?"grace said ,Grace loved the gossip and everybody else's lives.

"What happend!"i said in shock

"He's in hospital or something"she said casually
"Well I have to go byeeee lovee youuu girl"Grace said

My heart was beating.i didn't know what to do or think but I knew I had to speak to him even if he didn't was to speak to me
I tried to call him multiple times,but no answer
My last resort was Alex..but I didn't want to call him and ask him about Cole I hadn't even spoke to him yet I couldn't do that.i sat thinking for a minute

"Katherine!" I said

I rang her quickly praying she would answer I needed to know if he was ok. I didn't even know why I cared so much but nothing was stopping me

"Hello Jackie !!how are you !!"Katherine said like nothing had happened

"Umm I'm good.uh has something happend to Cole ?"i questioned

"Oh sweetheart thank you for looking out for him,but yes sadly he had an accident with his leg.we are not sure what he's done but I dosent look like he will be walking for a while though"

"So.. is he going to be alright?"i asked still worried

"He will be fine I hope but he's currently asleep all these medication is making him sleepy"she laughed

"Well can you please tell him I said get well soon"I told Katherine over the phone

"Of course I will honey I will give you a ring later or tomorrow okay "she said so nicely it left a faint smile on my face

"Ok thank you Katherine bye !"i spoke as I ended the call

The next day came and still no call from Katherine I began to worry but I know they are just busy...

Coles pov

I woke up in a bed. people speaking and an annoying beeping noise fled my ears.my eyes slowly opened as I saw my mum sat next to me on the phone.she looked over at me and smiled
"Nice to see you awake sweetie"she said

"What..happend.." I asked

"One of the kids ran into you and caused you to do something to your leg again but we are not sure what yet"she spoke with a sad tone in her voice like she knew something I didn't

"Oh and I was speaking to Jackie and she told me to tell you that she said get well soon"

Instantly a smile grew on my face and I let out a small giggle
"Where's my phone mum" I asked

She paced over my phone as I looked down at the bright screen messages flooded my eyes.but only one message caught my attention it was from Jackie

"Hey Cole are you ok I'm really worried please text me back"the Message wrote

Cole:hey I'm ok I'm not really sure what happened or what's going on but thought I would let you know I'm ok

Jackie:thank god you're ok,sorry if I sound a bit over dramatic but after all the stuff with my family I've never been a fan in hospitals but I hope you get Better Colorado xxx

Cole:no no you're not being over dramatic at all it's quite nice to know someone actually cares.the only over people are my parents.alex
Is mad at me still for no reason.i lashed out at Isac about something that I can't even remember and I made a stupid comment about nathen so yeah nobody really cares

Jackie:I'm sure they all care Cole just because there mad at you it doesn't mean they don't love you!! Your their brother of core they care ok don't think like that

Cole:thanks I got to go bye New York x

Jackie:bye Colorado get well soon x

A smile grew on my face just knowing that she's not mad at me and that she cares makes me feel so much better but I messed up everything. I just laid there alone only with my thoughts swirling around my head until my mum walked in her face didn't look very happy I knew in my stomach something bad was going to happen.

"So um Cole sweetie I've ..just spoke to the doctors and they have gave me a little check up on what's going on.."Katherine said

As mum said this a tall slim male doctor with brow hair and green eyes walked in

"Hello Cole how are you feeling"he asked

"My leg hurts of that helps"I laughed

"So I have some news for you Cole about your leg.sadly the impact on your leg has caused more damage than before meaning you won't be able to walk for a while to start you off I'll have a wheel chair and after crutches but after that we are not sure"he said

I looked at my mum tears fell in my eyes

"Oh Cole come here"she said as she gave me a hug

"So.. will I ever be able to play football again"I asked praying that i could

"Well because of this injury there is another surgery we can do that might let you be able to play football again but it will take a while to re train your leg so go easy"he stated

"Oh my days that's great news Cole !!..thank you"she said to the Doctor and me
