"Hey nee-san?" asked Nukekubi.

"Yes?" asked Rokurokubi.

"Your whole plan to recruit all these ghosts is weird," said Nukekubi.

"I guess... it does sound a little crazy when you think about it, but I want to give yokai & onryos a second chance at life, reintergrate them into society, after all, we have it easy compared to a lot of them," replied Rokurokubi.

"But we don't have it easy! Stop comparing our lives to all those ghosts, we're just as miserable as them!" whined Nukekubi.

"No we aren't! I know sooo many who have it so much worse than us!" she said.

"I don't care! I just wanna be happy! This plan won't work! Can't we just go back to our old house, they won't be looking there anymore after all this time..." Nukekubi suggested.

"They'll notice if we move back in, they'll be suspicious, we're the daughters of the man who got murdered there, they're gonna ask how we escaped, it will lead up to all these questions we can't answer without revealing that you murdered our father. I'm sadly grateful that you did, but do you know what will happen to us if they find out?!" Rokurokubi said.

"Ok... where do we live then?! We're screwed! Life screwed us over! Nobody likes me or will be friends with me! We don't have a house or parents! And the reason we don't have parents is because I KILLED BOTH OF THEM!" Nukekubi snapped.

"Mom's death wasn't your fault, it was indirectly caused by you, you killed father on purpose but he had it coming. Saying that you killed mom is listening to the lies that he fed to you all your life to make you loath & hate yourself, don't listen to it!" Rokurokubi stressed.

"Let's just catch those stupid ghosts..." Nukekubi said.

"It's not as easy as it sounds, they are not going to be easy to deal with, they are stubborn, hurt, and hostile, and we have to travel all over Japan to find them. I've heard rumors of restless bathroom spirits, that'll be a lot easier than going all the way to the Hokkaido train station, or the beaches in the south, or the snowy mountains," she said.

"You're dragging me all around the country with you, WITHOUT ANY MONEY, to catch SPIRITS?!" said Nukekubi.

"I thought you already knew that... and we have money from when I worked in the pleasure district..." said Rokurokubi.

"I DID! It's just ridiculous though! Why can't we just settle down & get a better life!" asked Nukekubi.

"You can, I'm not stopping you, but I NEED to do this! You can live on without me if you choose, after all, you are young, you have a lot of time to turn things around, but I will miss you..." Rokurokubi said with a sorrowful look.

"I'm not leaving you nee-san--- I could never!!! I just want you to live with me in our old house, and have a happy life together, but if you won't listen, I'm going with you! You're my only friend, I won't make friends staying back here on my own! I NEED you to stay by my side nee-san! Please!" she pleaded.

"I'm not leaving you Nukekubi, I just said you don't have to go ghost hunting with me! Why do you always think I'm going to leave you?" she asked.

"You're the only one who wants me alive!! Or even treats me well!! Nobody else does that, you helped me when I suffered everyday-- I'll devote my life to protect you nee-san!" she vowed.

"I don't think I'll get into too much danger, although some on the yokai or onryos we encounter might be dangerous, but remember Nukekubi, your reason for living doesn't rely on my safety, or even my life, you are your own person---" Rokurokubi stated.

"But I'm nothing without you nee-san! I'll fight for your life to the very end! Please!" she pleaded.

"Calm down Nukekubi, please..." Rokurokubi said as she let out a sigh. Nukekubi had begun crying, and there was no going back most of the time.

"Let's get going, Nukekubi, the ghosts won't catch themselves," Rokurokubi suggested.

"Ok... is that what I'm meant to do?" asked Nukekubi.

"I guess??? Does that work for you?" asked Rokurokubi.

"Yes nee-san, whatever you want!!!" she excited replied.

"Ok..." said Rokurokubi, with a little bit of worry on her face.

"Let's catch some ghosts! Where do we go nee-san?" she asked.

"To the nearest public, or more likely school restroom, will they let you into a high school since you're 16? Rokurokubi asked.

"I don't know, we never went to school nee-san," said Nukekubi.

"Well, let's go. Let's catch some ghosts!" said Rokurokubi.
