“Klaus isn’t stupid,” Percy told Rebekah while looking at everyone in the room. “This is such a stupid idea.”
“It’s the only one we have,” Rebekah told Percy who looked at dead Mikael on the floor.
“Bek,” Percy looked at her. “Klaus is going to be pissed.”
“I’m done caring what he thinks,” Rebekah told him and then looked at Stefan. “Call him.”
Percy looked at his mate who was just staring at the interaction with boredom. Stefan only rolled his eyes at her command and pulled out his phone.
Percy crossed his arms over his chest as he waited for the phone to ring.
“Ah, Stefan,” a voice whispered. “What a treasure it is to hear from you.”
Stefan rolled his eyes, not really wanting to deal with Klaus at the moment.
“Your father is dead,” he said with no hesitation.
Klaus was silent for a moment, before you could practically hear the dark deep breath he took.
“What did you just say to me?”
“Oh, my mistake,” Stefan said as a smirk plopped on his face. “Not your actual father and not dead. Mikael. Daggered. What do you want me to do with the body?”
Percy was just a little shocked with how Stefan was talking so casually.
He didn’t like that his mate was this emotionless, hot, messy, ripper vampire that also likes to eat bambi.
“Well, first I want you to explain to me exactly what happened,” Klaus said roughly.
After explaining everything to Klaus about what happened, Percy stood nervously in the corner.
“I wanna see him. I want to see his rotting body for myself!” Klaus said roughly.
Stefan looked up at Percy who only looked away. Stefan then looked at Elena who was giving him a small nod.
“Well, he is here. Come by whenever,” he said plainly. Klaus rolled his eyes.
“If you are lying to me Stefan, your compulsion will expose you. So, answer with your life: Is what you are saying the truth?” Klaus asked.
