“Percy!”
A grunt escaped the boy as he cuddled more into Astoria. They had fallen asleep next to each other after watching Disney movies.
“Percy! Help me!”
It was a girl's voice, one that felt familiar. He searched in his mind to remember the voice but a searing pain erupted in his chest.
Percy groaned in agony. His eyes snapped open and he sat up with a gasp. His hand went to his chest, holding on tight.
Astoria woke slightly, seeing him holding onto his chest in pain. She sat up confused.
“What’s wrong?” she asked with concern.
She placed her hand on his shoulder, while he tried rubbing his chest. He didn’t understand what was wrong in the first place.
“Somethings wrong– my chest, it hurts, like I was… like I was stabbed…” he whispered and that’s when it hit him.
He sped out of the bed and started to dress. Astoria looked up at him in confusion but followed his lead.
“Percy! Tell me what’s wrong?” she asked while pulling on her shoes.
“It’s Rebekah,” he told her with panic starting to lace through his tone.
“What do you mean? What has happened?” Astoria quickly grabbed her keys but Percy just grabbed her in bridal style.
“I have a better idea,” he said seriously and annoyed.
He then sped them out of the Bennett household and off to the Salvatore Boarding House. He knew it was them, it just had to be.
He knew they would betray her. They weren’t to be trusted, he thought maybe Stefan would try to save her, but no. Rebekah was on her own.
He didn’t think that they would turn their back on her so fast. Especially when they are trying to kill Klaus. What was the point of daggering someone who was closest to him?
Percy didn’t understand. He didn’t want to. He wanted his friend, his sister, to be okay.
He sped into the boarding house and set Astoria down. In the living room Elena, Stefan, Mikael, Katherine, and Damon stood.
