Coming To The Terms

At Night...

Karishma's Sleep broke by the clicking sound of the main door, she quickly grabbed her phone to check the time it was already 10:30..
She came down with heavy steps and saw Haseena sitting on the sofa while she could clearly hear Shivani talking from the kitchen..
She quickly closed her eyes once with her palms so that she could adjust to the lights of the room..
Shivani saw her standing at the stairs...

SP: Arey Krishu, udhar kya khadi hai..

KS( coming downstairs): Nahi, bas abhi neeche aa hi re the..

KS settled herself on the dining table, she poured herself a glass of water as she heard SP and HM talk about random things..
She didn't look at them because she knew HM was continuously stealing glances at her so she decided to ignore them for a while as she just sipped her glass of water..
After some time when they were done talking, Shivani got up to heat their food up..

SP: Haseena aap wait kariye, hum khana garam kar ke laate hain..

KS( interrupted): Nahi ruko, tum baitho baate Karo hum garam kar ke laate hain, waise bhi aap log thak gaye honge due to all the travelling and stuff..

Shivani once looked at KS with raised eyebrows to which KS just rolled her eyes in response..

KS moved towards the kitchen and after 5 minutes she came out with 2 plates of Rajma Chawal and then neatly placed it on the dining table in front of the two ladies.

KS(trying to imitate an Italian accent): Anything else my dear lovely ladies??

SP: Ummm...No Thanks

HM: Yeah, we could do with some water..

KS( a bit sternly): Ni milega, khana Kam khaati hain aur paani zyada peeti hain aap, phele khana khaiye fir hi paa....

KS stopped in the middle of her sentence as she realized her mistake so she tried to cover up..

KS: Humara matlab hai ki aap dono ko khana khaate Samay paani ni peena chahiye, acchi baat ni hoti hai..

SP looked at KS with a little suspicion as KS tried to escape from the situation..

KS: Aap log khana khaiye kisi ko aur kuch chahiye hoga toh bata dijiyega and khana khaane ke baad hum Maddam sir aur unka samaan dono ko out house mei pahuncha denge..

Saying this KS quickly ran away into the kitchen..

Shivani looked at KS's retreating figure and on the other hand HM was looking at KS with love filled eyes as a small smile of hope broke on her face...

HM(in mind): Hayeee...kitni cute hain yaar ye, pyaar toh abhi bhi karti hain bas Maan na ni hai ....Haseena Mallik tumhare toh bhaag hi khul gaye..

HM chuckles at her own thoughts as her cheeks turned a bit red even by thinking about KS's care for her and Shivani notices it...

SP: Kya hua?? Has kyu Rahi Hain aap??

HM( trying to come up with a cover): Ummm..wo..Kuch ni hume ye Rajma Chawal dekh ke apni ek team member hain Pushpa Ji urf Karishma Ji ki "Amma" unki yaad aa gayi, she makes the best Rajma Chawal in the world..

Suddenly KS's all ears were on the convo between the two as she stood at the kitchen's door..

SP( excitedly) : Heinn..aap jaanti hain Krishu ki Mummy ko..

HM : Mummy ni Amma, aur haan bilkul jaante hain humare thaane ki sabse choti member ( chuckles ) aur humari Head Constable cum counseling head Pushpa Singh...

KS also let's out a chuckle on the "sabse choti member" wala comment SP once looks at KS and then again at HM with a bit of excitement

SP: Sacchi..toh matlab wo bhi aayengi mission pe??
