Turning Point

Time flies... It's already been 4 months since we joined the academy. I've been able to experience living like a normal student. Well, it's not always peaceful, especially since Class F is always being underestimated by the other classes

"Nakakainis talaga ang mga clown na yun! Goodness they ruined my uniform!" galit na sabi ni Niana nang makabalik siya ng classroom from the restroom. She's soaking wet. Dinaluhan naman siya agad nina Kia at Jade.

"Girl! You're soaked!" sambit ni Kia.

"Sino naman ang gumawa nito sayo?" tanong ni Rodge nang nakalapit siya sa pwesto namin. "Yung nasa Class B. They put a bucket on the top of the restroom door! Babalik pa ako sa dorm para magbihis," inis na sabi ni Niana.

"No need," I interrupted. With a flick of my finger, I made Niana's clothes dry. Nanlaki naman ang mga mata nila sa kanilang nasaksihan.

"Woah! Sizy paano mo 'yun nagawa? Akala ko Mercury mana ang kapangyarihan mo?" Jade asked. Their eyes are on me, wondering what kind of sorcery I did. "I read it in a spell book in the library. I just chant the spell and that happened," I explained.

"Hindi naman ka narinig nag-chant ng spell"

"Oh, you guys didn't hear it. I whispered the chant," I lied. Of course, I didn't chant. I have mastered the technique of chanting. I am able to do it since my mother is from the west.

Namamangha pa rin sila sa kanilang nasaksihan. Lumapit sa akin si Niana at niyakap ako. "THANK YOU SIZY! Ang cool mo talaga," Niana thanked. I boredly nodded at her before she released me from her embrace.

"You know Sizy, parang hindi mo deserve dito sa Class F," Jade suddenly blurted which caught me off-guard. I saw Casper glanced at me, waiting for my respond. Siya lang ang nakakaalam sa totoong pagkatao ko dito a Class F. I thought I lay low but, did I stand up too much?

"Oo nga Sizy. Mabilis mong natutunan ang bawat tinuturo ng mga masters. You even presented your mana well than us. You have the highest score! Mas mataas pa sa ibang classes," Kia added.

Oh, I made a mistake that time. There was a time when we had a mana exhibition. We were showcasing our powers to everyone. I showed some artistry with my mercury mana and ended up having the highest score compared to anyone else. The Nivelites are still on top, but my score surpassed the other classes. Syempre nagulat ang lahat sa kanilang nasaksihan.

I am in Class F after all. And starting that day, whenever I stepped out of our classroom, all eyes were on me, and I could tell the hatred in their eyes. Stay jealous, I guess.

"Maybe it's because I'm improving. I'm unlocking my potential. So, you guys should stop looking down on yourselves. You're all improving too. That's enough proof that you have potential inside. Don't bother what other classes say because they are spitting some sh*ts," I said and they laughed on my last words.

"You're right Sizy. Alam mo, nang dumating ka dito mas magaan ang pakiramdam namin. Ikaw lang ang nagsasabi sa amin na malakas rin kami. We are always looked down but you were there to prove them we are not weak," Jade said and gave me her sweetest smile. I gave her smile too.

"Nagsosoft hours tayo bigla. How about chika minute naman tayo," we chuckled at Kia when she cut off the emotional moment. "True! Let's talk about the Gramarye Festive!" Niana agreed.

Gramarye Festive? Is that some kind of school event? That's my first time to hear that. "What's Gramarye Festive?"

"Isang school event ang Gramarye Festive. Gramaris are looking forward in this event because there's a lot of fun things you can enjoy. Each level will be competing different games! In those games, gramaris will be showcasing their strength. There's archery, sword fights, and Mana battles. That event will happen next month kaya excited na ang ibang gramaris," she exclaimed, excitement filled her eyes. Listening to it, it's like fun day for gramaris.
