ɴᴏᴛ ᴀɴ ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇ - ɪ'ᴍ sᴏʀʀʏ!

when I first started experimenting with the idea of writing a book like this, I always told myself I'd never be one of those "nOt aN uPdaTe🤪" authors if yk what I mean, but shit happens and here I am.

first off, I sort of already said this in the comments of one of my stories (Easter egg, y'all), but I just want to say thank you to all of my readers. the support I've gotten on this book is unlike anything I could have ever expected!

honestly, I just started this because finding exactly what I wanted in stories (ahem, smut) was hard (not like that), and so I just decided to make it myself. I thought, "hey, of a few people read it too, that's cool."

now I have hundreds of votes, tens of thousands of views, and more comments than I could have ever hoped for (you guys are braver than I, and I love you for it— seriously, I love comments so much, they bring me such joy, thank you). that is absolutely insane, and I'm so, so grateful for all of the support from all of you.

I love all of my readers, seriously, you all are so amazing and I'm so so thankful for the fact that you take time out of your lives to read my silly (and slightly dirty •°~°•) little stories. thank you so very much!

also, some of your reading list names make me laugh, y'all are wild, I love it <3

SECONDLY, and the real reason I'm here— I'm really sorry, but updates are not going to be as fast as I'd like. I was really on a roll for a minute there, riding the high of positive feedback (which, again, is super appreciated and makes me very happy, thank you!)

however, life really sucks sometimes. I'm not doing so hot mentally right now, and I'm not saying that in a "poor pitiful me," way, I am just trying to be transparent right now. I'm a slow writer as it is, and my stories aren't exactly short.

For context, the word counts for the chapters I have out currently are:
The Bodyguard: 5,888 words
The Boss: 4,444 words
The Brother's Bestfriend: 5,715 words
The Jealousy: 3,632 words
The Girl Next Door: 4,266 words
The Dad's Boss: 5,121 words
The Bookworm: 4,700 words
The Tutor: 5,900 words

I put a lot a care into making sure I'm not forcing my stories to make them as (hopefully) authentic and genuine they possibly can be. but every time I've tried writing lately, I stare blankly or am super detached from the words I'm putting on the page.

I don't want to sacrifice the integrity of my stories or the reader's (your!) enjoyment (😉) for the sake of getting something out.

so, all of this is to say: it is gonna be a while before I probably get any of the requests for part 2's or new stories completed. I'm so, so sorry to let anyone down, I wish so much I could overcome my writers block and just fulfill all of your wants, but that's just not possible for me at the moment.

please bear with me, I promise I'm working as much as I can and I'll do my best to get everything perfect for y'all.
