In this busy age, we can become so absorbed with work, studies, goals, and more that we often forget our loved ones. This can unintentionally hurt them, even if we don't notice it at the time. We might also miss out on important occasions in life. So, this is your gentle reminder to spread love.
Take your mom on a mom-daughter date, have a movie night at home with your little siblings and pets, send flowers to your girlfriend's workplace, or bake your boyfriend's favorite dessert and send it to his office with a cute note. Surprise your best friend with flowers, open doors for others, and be chivalrous in any form of love language. Call or text your loved ones to check on them, ring your wife or mom to thank them for the delicious work lunch, and surprise your dad with that one book he really wanted to read. Grab a chocolate for your younger siblings or even your kids on the way home. Smile at strangers, even if they might not smile back at you. Buy food and feed stray dogs and cats, be kind, buy food or even lend money to those in need. Compliment and encourage your colleagues, strangers, and classmates. Plan girls' dates with your friends or hang out with them. Check up on family and friends during sickness and be there for them in need. Be that person who brings a smile to someone's face. Be unique and light up someone's gloomy day, even if it's as simple as a smile.
But most importantly, love yourself. If your cup is empty, you cannot pour out love to others. If you spoil yourself, take care of yourself, and are kind to yourself, your cup will start to overflow with love. This overflow will allow you to spread love to everyone around you.
