After I filled Eli in on what had happened at the embassy he quickly got things ready for project renewal.
Eli: Everything is prepped Sir.
Ven: Good, they just confirmed that we will be getting the data package today.
Eli: Just received it Sir.
Ven: They have some fast workers!
Eli: We will start assembling and testing immediately Sir.
Ven: Good. I'll see you later Eli.
Eli: Goodbye Sir.
I begin to make my way back home. The best part about only working one month out of the year? All the free time you could want to hang out with friends, If I had any.
(TIME SKIP 8 MONTHS)
Eli: The new line of prosthetics are working wondrously Sir.
Ven: That's wonderful news Eli. Any word from our usual clients about possible contracts?
Eli: Most have signed on for another five years Sir.
Ven: That's good to hear, would hate it if the money stopped rolling in.
Eli: Sir you have a call.
Ven: Who is it?
Eli: Lucifer Sir.
Ven: Really!? Put him through!...Hello! What can I do for you your majesty!
Luci: I heard you people offer protection from exorcists?
Ven: Well yes, but why would you need tha-
Luci: My daughter Charlie has a new meeting with Heaven and I want you to provide security for her Vincent.
Ven: Of course Sir. Whatever you say!
Luci: Glad you're on board! The meeting is tomorrow at 4:00, does that work?
Ven: Absolutely! thank you for your patronage!
I hang up the phone and catch Eli up on what's happening before I head back home.
The next day I'm up early at 8:30 I get cleaned up and ready for todays assignment. I decided to handle it personally since that is what Lucifer paid for.
Ven: This is going to be quite a fun little outing
I leave my apartment and head to the Hazbin Hotel. When I arrive I knock and wait for a reply, after some time I simply enter and wait in the greeting area. Eventually a cat demon shows up and looks shocked to see me.
Ven: I'm the security for Charlie today, the name is Crow, pleasure to meet you.
???: Crow huh? Where your wings at? There isn't a feather on your body.
Ven: That is a personal matter. Where can I find the Princess?
???:*shrugs* probably in the kitchen making coffee.
Ven: Thank you.
I head to where the cat demon gestured
Ven: Hello? Charlie?
Almost immediately a crash comes from the kitchen as the young Princess makes herself visible
Charlie: Hello! Are you here for the hotel!
Ven: Afraid not your highness. I am your security for your trip to heaven today.
her smile fades slightly
