"All right children, why don't you guys follow your managers to get you changed for the photo shoot", Mr. Horner says.

"I'll see you out there", I tell Logan as I walk out.

"So what do you think of your new partner?", Carmen says while nudging me with her elbow.

"He seems nice but we didn't get to talk much. He seemed nervous, I think he might be a little anti social", I say.

"Why don't you try to get to know him more?", Carmen suggest.

"I mean we'll be racing for the same team for the next two years. I think we'll have plenty of time to get to know each other", I say.

" No silly, try to get to know each other before the season starts. Look, we have about two months before testing starts, use this time to bond. If you wait till the last second the press is gonna assume things like you guys hate eachother, or you're secretly hooking up and trying to play it cool", Carmen starts ranting.

"Woah woah woah, that's a bit intense. I don't think it'll be that extreme if we don't talk during this time", I say trying to be realistic.

"Yea of course. You're so right. It's like you're the PR manager. I have no idea what I'm talking about", Carmen says sarcastically.

"Okay, I'm sorry. What do you suggest?", I say while laughing.

"Something small like getting ice cream or getting coffee. I don't know just like something not too intimate", Carmen says.

"Okay it's too cold for ice cream so I think coffee should be good", I say.

"Perfect! Now put this outfit on, they're waiting for us", Carmen says while walking away, leaving me laughing to myself.

"So if we already signed our contracts, what are we signing down there?", I ask Mr. Horner, genuinely confused.

"You guys will be signing a piece of paper with a bunch of nonsense written on it. The words are so small no photographer will be able to make out what it says. Here see for yourself", Mr. Horner says while handing me the papers.

Wow, these words are so hard to read. It's like they used 5 point font and they just allowed their cat to walk across their keyboard. "I swear trying to understand this is like trying to understand the minions", I say, thinking that no one was going to understand me.

Until I hear Logan laugh at my joke. I look up at him and smile. Looking at him in this light allows me to see that he has beautiful eyes, like the kind that you can't tell exactly what color they are.

As we're walking to the signing table, I stop him by putting my hand on his arm. "Hey after this you want to get coffee or something? So we could get to know each other better", I say, scared he might say no.

"Yea sure", he says with a smile on his face.

"Okay cool", I say as I walk towards the table.

Before I sit down, Carmen pulls me to the side."What was that about?", she says while pointing her head towards Logan's direction.

"I asked him to get coffee so we could get to know each other", I say.

"And by the smile on both your faces, I assume he said yes", she said with a mischievous grin.

"He did say yes. And I'm not smiling", I say while trying to put a serious face.

"Uh huh sure. Go over there to 'sign your contract' so you guys can go on your date", she says.

Before I could tell her it's not a date, she's already pushing me towards the table causing me to stumble. Luckily, Logan was right there to catch me. "Woah someone is clumsy", he says while laughing.

"Yeah let's put it that way", I say as I get up from his arms. I look back at Carmen and I see that she's trying to hide her laughter by putting her binder in front of her face. Oh I'm going to get her next time.

"Alright everyone, I would like to announce our two brand new drivers for Red Bull for this upcoming season. Please welcome Sarah Alvarado and Logan Sargeant", Mr. Horner says.

Logan and I walk up the little podium and sit at our assigned seats. We let the press take their pictures for a bit and then Mr.Horner comes by with our "contracts". I look down at it and it's the same paper with the minion language. We pretend that we're going over it and flip through the pages slowly until we see the one with the dotted line. We scribble something onto it and once we're done, camera shutters are the only thing you can hear.

"Thank you all for coming, you may now see yourselves out", Mr. Horner says.

As we walk off the podium, I turn to Logan. "So are you ready to go get coffee?", I ask.
