Ebony sighed and rested his head on his hand, which was leaning against the arm of the armchair he was sitting on. He was worn out from being attacked by feisty high-school children. But, as he closed his eyes, he felt a bit of wriggling against him, and he heard a bit of babbling. He opened his eyes to see Natalie, putting the twin babies down next to him. "I'm handing over the little ones for a while, alright?" she said. Ebony beamed and took the twins in his arms. "Yes, that's more than fine." There were some little babbles of "Paaa!" and some squealing as the babies snuggled against their father. Ebony smiled and gently stroked each of their heads. "Hello, twinsies...you're starting to grow hair, aren't you?" He pulled up a strand of one of the twins' locks of hair. "Look at this lovely hair!" The babies looked up at their heads. They didn't really know what Ebony was pulling at. "Bwah?" babbled Lychee.
"Hair."
"Hhhhnnnggh..."
"Um...close enough. That's alright, Lychee. You'll get there eventually." He gently kissed Lychee's head. The other baby, Midge, giggled as Ebony gently tugged at her hair. "Aww, you like your hair, do you? It's all soft and fluffy, isn't it?"
"Mweh!"
"Yeah!"
"Ye!"
