Chapter 35: Necklace

(Two days after the incident)

   "I KNEW IT, YOU'RE HERE,"

Sage's voice came from behind me, interrupting my moment of solitude on my hospital's rooftop. I sighed—didn't bother to look at him and just let him be. Afterwards, he stands next to me. 

"So what?" I mumbled then sipped some of my strawberry juice.

"A penny for your thoughts?"

I could see in my peripheral vision that he is also gazing at the stunning view of the city.

I rolled my eyes. "Tsk,"

"Come on, what's bothering you?" He murmured and bumped his shoulder on my shoulder.

"It's nothing," I replied. A lie, I'm thinking about stupid creature—Luke.

"Fine, just deny it," He muttered nonchalantly.

I snorted. "Alright, it's about Luke,"

"Why? Did he fell with her?" He said, straightforwardly.

I unconsciously looked at him, giving him a deadpan look. "Obviously,"

"And you don't know what you will follow?" He said, smirked and glanced at me. I deeply sighed and looked away. "Knew it,"

A moment later, he put his arms around me. I scowled as I looked at him.

"But I do believe that you know the answer too,"

I scoffed. "Funny,"

"Oh, Sinn," He chuckled and made me face him. "Just do what it feels right and follow what you really feel here," He pointed to my heart, smiling. "I know Tita kill would say the same,"

I glanced at the sky, smiling. "I know,"

"I am aware that choosing between what you want and what's best for everyone is a difficult decision," He stated, tapping my shoulder. "You'll soon figure things out, but for now just relax,"

"I'm calm and relaxed, don't worry," I mumbled and sipped again from my juice.

"Tsk, whatever," and he opened a soda can. "Cheers?"

I smiled. "Cheers,"

We clicked our drinks and we enjoyed the stunning sunset scenery as we savored our drinks. It's been 2 days and yet Erizze is still unconscious.

(Five days ago)

        "F*CK," I cursed. F*ck it. D*mn, how could I forget about her again?

I hurried inside without thinking. All I have to do is find her. This is my chance to find her and save her. I swear, this time, I won't lose her. I don't want to lose her again. Never.

"ERIZZE!" I yelled her name and looked around.

I coughed and cover my mouth and nose bago lumakad pataas. I looked around again, hoping to see her around.
