summary: beau and charlie work together to make a musical at auclair academy happen, though in the process they begin to date secretly, hiding their relationship from lucas. tori seems to notice something going on between them and makes a bet with glen over the status of their relationship... though the secret seems to be revealed when the four find themselves locked together in the theatre for hours.
When Charlie found out he was working on a partner project with Beau, he wasn't really sure what to expect. Beau was his brother's best friend, and they'd seemed to get along when they hung out, but never once had they hung out alone before.
Well, one thing was clear so far, Beau was late as hell. Charlie sat in the library with his headphones on, and found himself scribbling lyrics to Hamilton on the desk. Suddenly the boy felt a tap on his shoulder, causing him to take off his headphones before he turned to see Beau. "I'm sorry." Beau admitted, as he sat in the seat next to Charlie. "I sort of lost track of time." The witch admitted.
Charlie looked a little amusedly at him, "Who were you flirting with?" He asked teasingly, knowing that Beau spent way too much of his time flirting with other students. "Clary." Beau replied casually as Charlie seemed a little surprised, "Oh wow... I actually wasn't expecting that." The Salvatore laughed slightly.
"What do we have here?" Beau asked, noticing the words Charlie had scribbled onto his side of the table. "Oh uh... I was listening to the Hamilton soundtrack while waiting for you." The vampire admitted as Beau started to read the lyrics aloud, "Well the word got around they said this kid is insane man, took up a collection just to send him to the mainland. Get your education don't forget from whence you came. And the world is gonna know your name. What's ya name, man?"
"Dude you stopped at the best part!" Beau huffed as Charlie replied, "I know!" The Lazuli then decided to sing the lyrics that followed, "Alexander Hamilton. My name is Alexander Hamilton. And there's a million things I haven't done. But just you wait, just you, wait."
"I love Hamilton!" Beau then insisted, causing Charlie's eyes to light up, "I forgot you're also a theatre nerd!" He admitted as Beau pretended to be offended, "How?!" He asked, as it was fairly obvious... Beau was often singing songs from musicals, he paid the most attention in drama class and the walls on his half of his shared dorm with Lucas, were covered in posters from theatre productions.
