As both cars roll out onto the empty highway, cars were honking their horns at them, as they dodge the two. Braedey rolled off onto the median strip in the middle of the Interstate, coming to a stop as he does so, whilst McQueen was still in the middle of the highway. Braedey woke up slowly, his eyes adjusting, then he noticed something that made his eyes snap open: a semi-truck was gonna flatten Lightning!
"MCQUEEN! GET UP!" Braedey yelled out, his engine roaring out.
McQueen woke with a start, then saw the truck ahead of him, blaring his horn at him. With a scream, he got in gear, and dodged the truck. Next, he saw a car ahead, and dodged that, too. Then, he saw a wall of three trucks ahead, all of them blaring their horns, and McQueen spun out on the median.
Braedey rolled up to his partner. "You okay?" He asked.
Lightning nodded lightly, breathing heavily of what just happened, and looked to the Interstate, seeing all the other cars and trucks go by. "MACK!" He screamed, then with his engine roaring loud, he got back on the Interstate, dodging cars and trucks in the process, Braedey racing just behind him as they try and go after Mack.

Lightning McQueen and Braedey Martin raced along through the night, dodging and weaving through traffic on the Interstate 40, desperately trying to find Mack as they go about.
"Mack!" Mcqueen called out, but as he was alongside a flat-nose truck, his eyes widened at what he saw ahead. Braedey now raced alongside McQueen, and he too saw what was ahead of them.

There has got to be over a hundred or so semi-trucks with trailers up ahead of the two racers, all of them in the same shape and form as that of Mack. With no other options, Lightning and Braedey race off to try and find their driver.
"Mack!" Lightning called to one truck.
"Is that you, Mack!" Braedey called to another truck.
"Mack!" Lightning yelled, then he noticed something. It was an 18-wheeler like Mack, with the same trailer, and it was leaving the Interstate. "Mack! Mack, wait for us!" He called, and began to race off the interstate to catch up.
"Lightning, wait!" Braedey called, accelerating to catch up with his partner. Then, he saw the truck's trailer lights. "That might be Mack."
Then, as the truck passed down the road, the sound of ringing bells could be heard, along with two flashing lights. Braedey knew that sound: it was a railroad crossing, and a train was heading for it!!
Braedey and Lightning accelerate as fast as they could, determined to get past the train to catch their truck. The diesel train saw them, and started to blare his horns loudly at the two, trying to tell them to stop. But, the two didn't listen as they power ahead as fast as their wheels can carry them. They then pushed themselves a little bit further, and cleared the crossing, just before the train reached it.
