"How great would it have been to see this place in its heyday!" Lightning said to Sally, the two of them looking at the town after their long drive up Tailfin Pass.
"Oh, I can't tell you how many times l've dreamed of that." Sally told him with a soft sigh as she looks on. "But one of these days we'll find a way to get it back on the map."
"Yeah. Hey, listen, thanks for the drive." Lightning thanked softly. "I had a great time. It's kinda nice to slow down every once in a while."
"You're welcome." Sally replied, then she drove off back to her motel.

After Sally drove off to the Cozy Cone, McQueen smiled on at her departing form. He couldn't help but smile at the nice drive he had with the Porsche earlier today up to Tailfin Pass. Braedey drove up next to the red racecar, and Lighting couldn't help but be surprised by Braedey's new paint.
"Whoa. Nice paint, pal." McQueen commented.
"Thanks, Lightning." Braedey thanked back, looking at his new look. "I figured to go with something that speaks more of me than you." He then smirked. "I saw you smiling at her. You two have fun up in the hills?" He asked to McQueen.
"Sally showed me one of the greatest views ever, and she told me about what happened to this place." Lightning explained to him. "You should've seen it."
"Really? That's neat." Braedey answered.
"This place was wiped off the map because of the interstate 40 years ago." McQueen stated. "These guys have been here for all this time."
"Whoa..." Braedey said in awe.
Mater suddenly drove up to the two racecars. "Hey, listen, listen! If anybody asks you, we was out smashin' mailboxes, okay?" He told them quickly, then he then quickly drove off into town at once.
McQueen was taken aback by what Mater just said to him. "Wh... What?"
"What was all that about?" Braedey wondered aloud in confusion. He looks down the road, and he thought he saw something in the distance, as well as the faint sound of rumbling coming up fast. He bumps his right tyre against Lightning's side, making him turn around to see what it was. Then, a herd of tractors were racing up towards town. It was a stampede!!!

Braedey and Lightning saw the stampede of tractors coming up fast, so they quickly speed out of the way and off Main Street, just as the tractors began to race down the Main Street. The townsfolk were all surprised to see the tractors, as they began to head towards the courthouse.
Ramone, who was repainting yellow lines down on the road, now saw the tractors coming in fast. "Oh, man, the paint's still wet!" He yelled, and he quickly drove out of the oncoming tractors.
