Chapter 9

I massaged my head after reading the 15th book that he gave me. All 15 books were history of every country. I'm not even done with a continent yet.

I look in front of me where stacks of books are. All of them were history. It's hard especially since I needed to remember everything for a month. From the title of the book, its author, the page of every content, its paragraph, and every single detail of it.

I was told that it's important to remember everything because I will be a walking Google in the future for them. I can't complain because they said it's my payment for saving me. It is also a means of learning on my side so I was kind of grateful for them for letting me do this. But for a month?

And to be honest, I don't want to be saved. I want to die. Even though I'm learning things, I know it's not for me, but for them. I'm being used again. I don't want that. I want to be free from everyone

Looking at the books in front of me, I remember how they forced me to memorize things like a person's information, and their ledger full of illegal things so that they could burn it and just ask me what was on the ledger to erase evidence. I randomly get one book to start reading and read the title

Eh? What's with this title?

"Time Leap and Time Travel?"

"Where are you going, Miyuki-san?" Kakucho asked the woman who was wearing a luxury outfit and she seemed like talking on a phone

Miyuki looked at Kakucho who was wearing an apron and to Grandpa Sano who was sipping his coffee

She walks towards the two, patting Kakucho's arm and kissing Grandpa Sano's cheek

"I'll be going out and be back late," she waved to them and walked away, and then they heard her bike roar, a sign that she already left

Grandpa Sano just shook his head and Kakucho just shrugged. They're used to it, living with Miyuki for almost 4 years makes you get used to some weird shits

"Yuki-chin!"

And it includes Mikey wailing every morning when he can't find Miyuki in her room. Grandpa Sano was not bothered by the wailing noise but Kakucho knew that if he didn't stop, two tigers would strangle him to death

"Miyuki-san said she's going out and will be back late" Kakucho explained and was ready for more question

"When did she leave?"

"2 minutes before you wail"

"Where is she going?"

"I didn't ask, she seems to be in a hurry"

"What is she wearing?"

"It looks like luxurious"

"Is she with somebody?"

"When will she come back?"

"She said she'll be back late"

"Did she-"

"Shut up, Manjiro" Grandpa Sano said and put down the newspaper he was reading
