chapter 7

Nurse Molly's POV

"What's wrong with her?" Trevor, Lily's boyfriend asked me.

"She's having a seizure, now please go to the waiting room." i told him calmly but in the inside I was freaking out.

"NO! I NEED TO SEE HER NOW!!" He said while doctors held him back. I closed the door and saw Lily's lifeless body on the bed while doctors gave her air and checked her heartbeat.

"Doctor we have to save her, do anything, please. I gave her a promise. she has a baby please."

"I know Molly, we're doing everything we can." The doctor said while putting a new IV in her forearm. Some nurses wiped off the foam on her mouth and they did some blood work.

I walked up to her and whispered in her ear.

"You'll be okay, I'm keeping my promise. everything will be okay." I said while stroking her head.  The doctors didn't know what was wrong with her but they found a lung problem.

She had second hand smoke because of her dad and grandpa.  It could be serious for her and the baby.

4 hours later

"Molly please tell Lilys parents that they can come in an also let her boyfriend in." I nodded and walked into the waiting room. her mom and dad looked tired and upset and her boyfriend had his face covered in his jacket.

when I walked in her parents stood up knowing I was going to let them in. I tapped on Trevor's shoulder and he looked up. his eyes were puffy and his cheeks were red. he jumped up and wiped a tear away.

"can I see her now?" he said and I nodded. Trevor and mr Davidson helped mrs Davidson to the room. she was still hurt, but she was recovering very quickly.

Lily was awake on the bed and I walked in first. Trevor ran in and looked at lily she looked back at him and he smiled and tears streamed out of his face.  I wanted to cry myself at seeing this. lily held Trevor's hand they said nothing just smiled at each other

Lilys parents also he'd her other hand because they couldn't hug her. I waved to them and kissed lily on the head. I walked out.

Trevor's POV

I sat in the waiting room, waiting for some news on her. her parents had gone to get food but I couldn't think about food. i buried my head in my jacket and started to cry.

she is my everything, when she smiles the sun shines brighter and when she laughs the birds laugh with her. she isn't like all the slutty girls who just want sex. she wants hugs and kisses, movie dates, walks on the park, and fancy dinners. she wants so little, but she makes it big.

I must've been thinking about her for a while because I felt a tap on my shoulder and Lilys nurse stood in front of me. I jumped up and she gave me a sympathetic smile.

"can I see her now?" I asked eagerly. the nurse nodded and I helped mrs Davidson to the room.

I saw lily laying there. her eyes had bags she had so many tubes in her I couldn't count them with my two hands. her hair was messy and she gave me a weak smile, she has never looked so beautiful in her life I don't care about her clothes or makeupand I couldn't speak I ran over and squeezed her hand. we smiled at each other for like 5 minutes. I kissed her forehead and let her talk to her mom and dad.
