Next day

Charles wakes me up with a call.
"I'm outside, can I come in?" He asks.
I quickly sit. "Yes-yes, um, yeah."
I go the bathroom and wash my face to wake up. I see myself in the mirror. Jeff will be complaining about my skin and the bags under my eyes. I might need to call him later and ask what to do.
I hear a knock on my room door. I run to the door and open it. Charles has coffee and a brown bag. "Breakfast?"
I nod and tell him to come in. We sit on the small table.
"I'm sorry I woke you up," Charles says as he takes out two containers from the brown bag. "I got the call from Delilah on what was going on, I barely arrived an hour ago and I don't know what to do." He bought me a traditional American breakfast, but I am not feeling hungry.
I take the coffee from the cup holder. "So, you haven't talked to Greyson?"
He begins to eat. "No, but, I will go in a bit."
I take a sip of coffee. It is a caramel macchiato. "Did you want me to go too?"
He nods. "Was it very bad? Delilah told me everything but it feels like she missed some details."
I push the container to the middle of the table and keep the coffee. "Sorry I am not hungry."
"It's alright," he sighs and stops eating. "So, what happened?"
I tell him everything that I can remember.
"Delilah hasn't called me for anything, so I'm thinking she already has a plan, or half of it, she mentioned a friend? He can help her know what to do next," I finish.
Charles looks so confused. "I just don't get it. If he hates Ann, how? How did he want to have sex with her? And why does he think he will be in jail soon? Do you know if she has tried seeing him? Call him before?"
"You think that maybe she has been communicating with him ever since?" I ask.
"I guess so, and what does Ann want? If she really got hurt by Greyson, why would she come back to see him and let him touch her?" Charles asks.
"Clarissa told me something that I have been thinking about. I feel that it's important but I still don't know why," I say.
"What is it?"
I talk about the bracelet Clarissa was asked about from the police. I also mentioned how the detectives haven't talked or tried to see Greyson again.
"And do the police still have the bracelet?" He asks.
I shrug. "I guess so. I think I'm just questioning why it had blood on it. Did Ann cut herself and took it off? Why would Greyson get it? Or something else happened that I haven't guess."
"Well, I think right now our priority is to help Greyson. I am in the same boat as Blake. I think we need to get him help as soon as possible."
"Does Beth know?"
He nods. "Yeah, Delilah talked to her after the card game. She's trying to figure out a way to let Jackie know."
Charles begins to clean up the table. "Can I use your bathroom?"
I nod.
I go to the dresser and chose what to wear. My phone rings and I get it from the bed. It is Delilah.
"Hi," I answer.
"Morning, how are you feeling?"
Her voice is so gentle like a mother's would be.
"I am okay," I say. "Charles is here with me. He said he barely arrived a while ago."
"Good, I was about to call him. Are you both coming soon?"
"Yeah, I just need to shower,"
"Greyson is still sleeping. I am thinking Charles already told you what we discussed last night?"
"Yes, so what did your friend suggest?"
"He is a drug counselor, his name is Martin Brown, we went to college together,"
"So he is a psychologist?"
"He does but he his expertise is on addictions. But he has a lot of experience working with people with depression and suicidal thoughts too. Those mix with the drug addiction to many people."
"But Greyson doesn't have any addictions,"
"No, but Martin has experience with people like Greyson,"
Charles gets out of the bathroom. He tells me to give him the phone.
"It's Delilah," I say.
"Give it,"
I hand him the phone. "Hey Delilah, so what did Dr. Brown say?"
"Okay, and so would he able to go see him?"
Charles waits for Delilah to finish.
"Alright, I'll let her know. See you in a hour." Charles hangs up.
"What did she say?" I ask.
"Dr. Brown is not going to be able to come, but he will try to talk to Greyson in a call. However, he says he has the duty to report anyone that tells him they are feeling like harming themselves and others, so if Greyson says so, he will need to get him institutionalized, he isn't going to risk his license for a favor," Charles says.
I stand. "Okay, then let me take a quick shower and we can go. Hopefully Greyson wakes up soon and we can talk to him."
"I'll wait for you here, is that okay?"
I say yes. I get my clothes and go in the bathroom. I get ready as soon as I can without looking too much of a mess.
