Skipper *4 years later*
"Mommy?" I heard my daughter say.
"Yes Angela?" I answered.
"When will daddy be home?" She asked, climbing onto my lap. Jake was on tour and we were waiting for him to come back. He's suppose to be home in a little while.
"Soon sweetie." I replied, getting up to turn off the stove.
"Here's your Mac and cheese." I told her, putting it on her plate.
"Tank wou mommy." She smiled her adorable smile.
"You're welcome honey." I said, kissing her head. Now for Jake to come home....
I heard the front door open. I turned around when I heard Angela scream "DADDY YOU'RE HOME!!"
"Yes I am, where's your mom?" I heard Jake asked.
"Kitchen." Angela answered.
"Thank you sweetie." He said, kissing her head. Jake walked up to me.
"Hey babe." He said.
"Hello." I said. He kissed my lips for a second and then hugged me.
"Daddy I missed wou." Angela said.
"I missed you too sweetie." Jake said, picking her up.
"Hey, I missed you." I said.
"And I missed you too." Jake said.
"Good." I laughed.
"I love y'all, you know that, right?" He said.
"We know." I said.
