He went back home later that day and spent the rest of it doing random chores around the house, just trying to distract himself. Around seven thirty, his doorbell rang. He put the remote control down and made his way towards the door, picking through the peephole and first seeing Mickey smirking at him with bags of takeout in hand.
"Hey Red"
"Hey Mick," Ian smiled as Mickey leaned in and connected their lips in a chest kiss.
"Hungry?" Mickey asked, putting the bags down in front of us over the coffee table.
"Oh, is it the time for me to eat you for dinner?"
"Later, bud, now sit your ass down, man, fucking horny baster," Mickey laughed and kissed Ian's cheek.

They ate in comfort silence; the only sound that could be heard from them was their breath and stolen kisses between bites.
"Listen, I want to talk with you about something," Ian started as he straightened up in his chair.
"What is it, Gallagher? If it's not important, maybe we can postpone it for another time to get something good from this meetup," Mickey smirked as he climbed on top of Ian's lap, straddling him.
"Sit your ass down on the couch, Mickey; this is serious," Ian said as Mickey nodded, taking the seat next to him.
"Look.. I don't know how to do it.. but..."
"I like you."
"Ah?"
"You like me, I like you; that's what you wanted to say, right?"
"Yeah." Ian smiled shyly. "How did you?"
"You've got your ways; I've got mine... and some ears on the field," he whispered, lastly looking down over their now conjoined hands.
"Did you snitch on us?"
"Didn't have too.. I was snitching out by Jade."
"How?" Ian asked, confused, staring over Mickey.
"She came over one day after you left and left your shirt on my bed; she connected the dots in no time and then worked on a bet with the girl and me when I'll tell you I like you."
"God damn it, Jade," Ian laughed, "but wait, I just met her this afternoon, and she kept nagging me on who I was dating after I told her it wasn't a girl." Mickey smiled softly.
"So she knew and didn't say shit."
"Yep"
"Damn," Ian called as Mickey rolled his eyes.
"Wait, you said there was a bet, right?" Ian asked as Mickey nodded.
"Wanna fuck with them around?"
"That's why I fell for you," Ian replied as Mickey smirked, kissing his cheek.
