Kayla POV

"Um. Earth to Grover? You alright?" I ask setting down my tea, and looks at Grover in concern.

He just smiles oddly, and glances back out the window he was just staring out of for the last three minutes. Sips his tea again, as if to distract himself.

"Oh, it's nothing really? Um this tea is really good....." He looks down taking  yet another sip of tea.

"Come on Grover, you just got spooked by something. What was it?" I question.

He tenses up and relaxes quickly, answering like a robot, almost. "That figure from this morning was outside of your window."

My eyes go wide, and Grover shakes his head with a confused look on his face, his eyes widening as well. "Gods, Kayla, I'm sorry, I didn't want to scare you, I dunno how you got me to tell you....."

"I mean I thought that he was just one of those guys that walk around asking for money,  not like, a stalker guy. I'm calling the cops." I reach for my phone, only to have it blocked by Grover.

"Police can't do anything about it," Grover tries reasoning. "We don't even know what the guy looks like, and a description of 'male in a trench coat, about 6 feet tall, with red sneakers, describes about 400 people in New York."

I sit down, looking at my shoes. "Well what am I supposed to do? Let him stalk me? Why is he stalking me anyways? I'm not rich or anything."

Grover thinks and looks about to say something, stops himself. And asks, "Do you trust me?"

I look up, thinking, "I mean sure, I guess? Why?" I think again. "Grover..... Do you have something to do...... with that guy?" Starting to regret asking him inside for tea.

Grover gets an offended look on his face. "Kayla, why would I do that? You know me, I mean maybe not as much as you'd like but, you know I couldn't do that, I'm actually here to protect you from th-" He pales again, like he's seen a ghost. Muttering to himself, "σκατά!"

I scoff. "Protect me? What are you talking about Grover?'"

Sighing heavily, "You remember I asked you about Greek Mythology, and whatnot?"

I start to get frustrated, seeing as that had nothing to do with the given situation. "Yeah, so what?! Get to the point or get out, and let me call the cops Grover!"

"Okay, I'm going to tell you everything alright? Just sit down, and relax, please." He hands his hands up as if in surrender.

Letting a few moments of silence pass between us, I sit down against my gut instinct to run.

Grover takes this an an invite to go on with his explanation.

"Well the thing is..... These Greek gods you know of..... are real."
