OK moving to a new school is one thing but moving out of Queens to Brooklyn? What for they both a death trap for anyone if you ask me.

Good things come out of moving though. New people. New teachers. Maybe getting lucky enough to move to the dumb class where they hardly give out homework. I don't know. It seems like if you move to a new school in the beginning of the school year it'll be easy to make friends. But the middle. Everyone already has their friend, an and groups.

I just hope someone will accept me.

•The Next Day•

When my mom dropped me off we sat there for what felt like an hour. A whole bunch of kids were just hanging out in front of the school and it seemed if I got out everyone would stare at me.

"Girl if you don't go. I'm about to be late for work." She said.

"Ok bye ma." I gave her a kiss and got out of the black Rouge.

I walked up to the security guard and asked where the main office was.

"You go in and its the third door on the left." He directed me.

"Thank you. I guess I'll see you later." I said and he laughed. I make friends easily. Even if they are a teacher.

When I got into the office a noticed a really pretty black lady with thick curls on top of her head sitting behind the desk.

"Hey! Um... I new here just transfered here from Queens High." I said shaking her hand.

"Hi honey! Its Indigo? Is that your name?" She asked.

"Yep that's me! Named after a color!" I said. While we both laughed.

"Ok honey. These... Are you schedule, teachers, and your homeroom and councilor. The forms your parent need to sign are in this envelope. Have a nice day. If you need anything you know where I am. I'm Miss G. "

"Ok thank you Miss G. You also have a nice day!" I said walking into that barren halls. I found my locker and opened it. My first class is my favorite AP World History. Yass.

I walk to my class and open the door. Every pair of eyes land on me.

I wave and smile. "Hello!"
