"uhm, about 4 months."

Is how long its been since I've seen Henry.

Our breakup didn't go the best..

"Why? What happened?" My'ani asked, opening her fourth bag of chips.

My'ani is another one of my close friends, we met in 5th grade science class and we just kind of clicked. Unfortunately, she had to move away to Utah due to her dad getting a big job offer over there. 

She had recently came back over to Salem since her grandmother had caught the flu.

Poor Miss Mabel.. 

"Well after we broke up, he started to cry and so did I so we sat I the car for a bit longer, holding each other.."

"And?" She said, gesturing me to continue.

"And after a while, I told him that I should go inside, but instead of him letting me go, he held on to me tighter."

"What the fuck?" She said scrunching her face up

"That's exactly what I said! So then I asked him what he was doing and he just stared at me, and I swear I saw fire in his eyes girl."

"Uhnt uh, that's the damn devil!" She said, holding on to her cross necklace.

"Ani, it gets fucking worse bro."

She pops another chip into her mouth, shaking her head.

"He grabs my fucking throat squeezing it, I swear he was trying to kill me bro!"

"Oh my gosh! Ari, are you okay" She asked, a concerned look plastered on to her face.

"Yea, but you'll never believe what the fuck he said."

"What?!"

"He said, 'If I ever find out that you've found someone else, I will kill you Aria.' like whaattt"

What he wanna kill me for?!

"Oh hello nah, he's one of those crazy mother fuckers." 

"He sure is, had me shaking and shit." I said looking through my instagram feed.

"So what did you say after that?"

"Not shit, bitch I almost passed out!"

"Good grief, so how'd you get out?"

"I guess he saw that I almost passed out and he let me go..I've never left a car so mother fucking fast."

"You better have! Should've called the police for real for real.." she said side eyeing me.

"Right but I didn't know what to do, I just went home and locked ALL of my doors."

"So where has he been at now?"

"Who knows? I don't care as long as he's away from me. Fuck him." I say shrugging my shoulders.

"Mhm, I know that right! look at you standing on business!" she says nudging my shoulder.

Our laughter is quickly interrupted by a creaking noise outside..

I jump as the noice suddenly grows louder outside of my window.

"The fuck was that?"

"Bitch, I don't fucking know!" I whisper yell

"Did you invite someone over?"

"Hell no, its like 1am.." I state, checking the clock on my phone.

and if things couldn't get any scarier, our electricity cut off.
