Flowers aren't used for apologies,
They're a bouquet of silence, a bouquet of ease.
Petals and stems, wrapped in cellophane,
But they don't have the power to heal the pain. You walk in with roses, red as regret,
Thinking their beauty might make me forget.
But flowers, they wither, their colors fade,
Just like the promises you've never made. You say, "I'm sorry," with daisies in hand,
But where were the words when I needed to stand?
Flowers can't speak the truth that's been missed,
They can't replace the nights we never kissed.A bouquet is a bandage on a gaping wound,
A gesture so pretty, but it's far too soon.
For words unspoken, for actions undone,
For the love we lost, for the battles you won.Lilies in white, like the lies you've told,
Orchids exotic, but your heart's grown cold.
You think a sunflower can turn to the sun,
But in the shadow of doubt, the bloom comes undone.Flowers aren't used for apologies,
They're a cover, a mask, a fleeting breeze.
They're pretty, they're fragrant, but they're not enough,
To mend what's broken, to heal what's rough.Tulips in a vase, standing tall and neat,
But they can't bring back the times you were sweet.
Can't erase the moments you made me feel small,
Can't stitch up the heart, shattered by your fall.Forget-me-nots, you place at my door,
But you forgot the truth, the core of the lore.
That apologies need more than blooms and stems,
They need change, they need action, not just gems.Flowers aren't used for apologies,
They're a whisper in the wind, a fleeting tease.
So don't bring me petals, don't bring me green,
Bring me the truth, let your heart be seen.I don't want chrysanthemums, not even in spring,
I want a love that's honest, that feels everything.
So keep your bouquet, your perfumed deceit,
Give me words that are real, give me something complete.Flowers aren't used for apologies,
They're just a distraction, a quick release.
So, if you're sorry, don't give me blooms,
Give me your heart, let it fill the room.
