The whole chapter is about Hoseok and Seulgi's relationship and there are no jikook moments in it so if you don't like it then you can skip it.
We'll see jikook in the next chapter...

AUTHOR'S POV

"Reunite families? I didn't get it." Seulgi's dad asked with confusion.

" Dad Hoseok-shi is our guest. Why are you asking him everything right away? At least let him sit first." Seulgi said immediately without giving alpha a chance to say anything.

"Yeah my daughter is right. Please give us a chance for your hospitality. " Mr. Kang said and told their chef to prepare lunch for Hoseok.

Soon after 20 minutes three of them were sitting in the dining room with Seulgi still panicking inside. Actually Hoseok has been telling all the information about what happened in the company in past days as her dad was out of the country on his business trip. But Seulgi knew once this talk was over then his dad would ask about the reunion of families and she was thinking of many ways to avoid it.

The Kang family has been one of the protectors of the Parks for centuries. But after Dae-sung took over JP corporation, he changed many ways and even their main projects which were affecting the kang family and their business so Seulgi's dad decided to step away from the JP corporation. At that time many people called them selfish and even their company sales were dropped too low but because of Hoseok's inference blue sky enterprise didn't face much difficulty. So for Mr. Kang Hoseok was as important as their pack alpha and he respected him a lot.

Once their discussion about past hurdles about Dae-sung was over Mr. Kang asked about the family reunion again and Seulgi held her breath in fear.

"As you already know how capable Seulgi is, so grandpa wants her to join as the manager of our human resource department in JP corporation under me. It will reunite our families and our business again like the old days." Hoseok said making both seulgi and her dad shocked.

Mr. Kang was so happy. If Seulgi works in a JP corporation then it will be a good experience for her and she can manage his company in future once he retires so of course he was so happy for her daughter.

" T-that's a wonderful news Hoseok. I am so grateful. I can assure you that my daughter won't create any problems for you and she will work harder for sure." Mr. Kang said meanwhile seulgi was still in shock.

Just like that conversation was diverted towards work once again but Seulgi was still alert. She was scared that Hoseok will bring their personal topic again so she finished her meal soon and went back to her room saying she is tired leaving the two alpha on their own.

After a while someone knocked on Seulgi's room door. She thought it was her butler and opened the door but it was none other than Hoseok.

Hoseok immediately closed the door and pinned her to it.

"W-what are you doing?"

"Trying to prove to you my point."

"W-what point? Leave me. What if someone comes here and sees us."

"I have already locked the door and I don't think anyone will come here until and unless you call someone. But I don't mind it. Imagine your dad's surprise if he sees us like this." Hoseok said as he pulled her towards him even more. His left hand was on the right side of her face staying on the door and by his right hand he was holding her waist keeping her close.

Seulgi was feeling breathless by the closeness. Her heart was beating so fast that she feared if the alpha could hear it. Their faces were so close that just a little bit more close and they'll end up kissing.
