"Alec?" I walked towards the library and shouted out loud, furrowing my brows in confusion and continuing down the hall. "Alec, where are you?" I let out a loud sigh and leaned against the wall, I heard a sigh behind me and turned around to see the blonde twin approach me expressionlessly.
"What is this shouting?" She asked stopping next to me to look at my appearance and I crossed my arms over my chest.
"I'm looking for Alec, I need to talk to him." I answered in frustration and Jane furrowed her brows questioningly. "Is everything alright? Are any of the guards bothering you again? I'll take care of it as soon as possible." Jane spoke and I shook my head.
"No no, no one has approached me, I just want to find out why Alec is acting strange." I replied and Jane raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"He has started behaving suddenly and my phone charger has mysteriously disappeared, Felix was saying three days ago that we can go buy a new one, but Alec interrupted him and acted angry." I explained remembering the event and before Jane answered I continued my sentence. "I've been thinking these three days and I finally realized that Alec has taken my charger, why? I don't know."
"I know nothing about this." Jane spoke and I ran my hands through my hair. I stared at Jane's face and she moved her head slightly as if listening. "What now?" I asked curiously and Jane was quiet for a moment before looking at me with her red eyes.
"Alec stepped out of the throne room." Jane muttered quietly out loud and I started running towards it.
"Alec!" I shouted and quickly ran up the stairs. "You're not running away we need to talk." I said out loud and soon I reached the doors and the corridor gaped with emptiness.
"Fuck." I said out loud with more frustration and held my head in my hands. "You're a fucking coward if you don't face me now." I mumbled out loud and turned around almost having a heart attack.
Alec stood in the hallway a couple of meters away, staring at the floor, his eyes were as dark as the sea under the night sky, darkness clearly surrounding him.
"Why did you take my charger?" I asked staring at him and he slowly looked up. "I don't know what you're talking about." He replied blankly and I bit my lip.
"Yes, I think you know." I said lifting my head and Alec narrowed his eyes. "You took my charger! Why? I can't contact my sister you know that!" I screamed out loud and Alec sighed.
"Stop that stupid behavior." Alec spoke calmly and I froze for a moment. Is he serious?
"No, I want to know what's wrong with you, you know my sister is important to me. You forced me to Italy! You took away the thing that allows me to keep in touch with my sister!"
"And now you try to act calm and deny everything, I've been thinking for three days and it was you. Are you going to tell me why?" I saw red, I was seething with rage, Alec acts like this is no big deal.
"Why is that charger such a big deal?" He asked still calmly and I raised my hand in the air. "Alec, I want to contact my sister, I'm going back to Forks soon." I stopped my sentence when I saw a small look on Alec's face.
No, it can't be true. My mouth opened slightly and Alec and I stared at each other in complete silence.
"You are trying to stop me from going back to my family and friends." I said out loud with a chuckle and shook my head.
"I thought we had already agreed on this." I continued my sentence and Alec stepped closer. "You know what?"
"You're still acting stupid." Alec spoke and I raised my hand. "Stop it, you're trying to manipulate me. You made me come here with you, and now you're trying to stop me from going back." I spoke calmly looking into his eyes which seemed to darken more if that is even possible.
"You're a monster, you won't stop me from getting back to my family and friends." I said and started to walk but Alec speed in front of me, I flinched a bit and stepped back. "Really? You want to go back so bad you can get to the dogs." He spoke with venom in his voice and I raised an eyebrow.
"First there was that big dog that I could kill in a second, and now there's another puppy. Are you going to jump in his bed when you get to Forks?" Alec spoke and I looked shocked. I opened my mouth slightly and turned my head. "What are you talking about?"
Alec's face was expressionless and he stepped forward and I backed up at the same time. "Now you answer one question I ask you." He said coldly and I felt my heart drop out of my chest.
"Are you expecting that shape- shifter's baby?"
My eyes widened at Alec's question and I laughed out loud. "What are you talking about?" I asked him laughing but my laughter ended quickly when Alec threw his arms around my head and I was back against the wall.
"Answer my question and don't try to lie human, I can hear your blood running through your veins and every beat of your heart." He whispered in my ear and he didn't sound like himself anymore. I didn't know what to think, I was shocked and a little scared. I had never seen this side of Alec.
"I- I..." I opened my mouth and no words came out. Alec was still standing there staring into my eyes and I felt like I wouldn't be able to breathe soon. My heart was pounding madly in my chest and I was scared.
"Don't tempt me darling." Alec finally spoke and I took a deep breath before opening my mouth. "Yes, I'm pregnant Alec."
And so it all happened quickly. Emotions got too high. It was like a nightmare. Alec sped away and I saw things flying down the hall. Tears welled up in my eyes and I was panicking.
Soon he sped back up and I looked at him in horror. "Alec! Don't!" I screamed and saw Jane, Demetri and Felix entering the corridor, they looked confused and Demetri stepped forward. "Alec, calm down." He carefully tried to speak and I felt tears fall as Alec held me. "Alec." I said quietly and felt him stroke my hair.
"Shh don't cry, everything will get easier soon." He whispered in my ear. "What do you mean?" I answered and saw Demetri and Felix step forward, horrified. "Alec don't!" Felix and Demetri screamed at the same time and I felt him snap his fangs into my neck. Pain shot up my body and I started to feel everything go dark. Just before I closed my eyes I heard Alec's words. "You are mine forever." And I saw a black mist surrounding us.
