After 2 months
"So, finally they are closing this forest now?" Jungkook said, laying on the lap of his lover, who in response, just gave a faint hum.
"It means today we are meeting for the last time, kookie." Jimin said, as he leaned down, to give a chaste kiss on his cheek, but jungkook, he was lost somewhere, deep into his thoughts.
"What do you think jimin? How long this war will take to end?" he asked, and jimin turned his gaze upward, as if he was thinking about it deeply.
"I don't have any idea. Perhaps, weeks? Months? Or years?"
"it means, we have no idea that when we will meet again, right?" He asked, now staring up at his lover, who looked down, and smiled at him.
"Doesn't matter how long it will take for the war to end, jungkookie, but my love for you is never going to change. Once the war will end, I will come here, on this same place to meet you, okay?" He said, making a huge bunny like smile form on jungkook's lips.
"Then, I will also come here! With your favorite chocolates! I will come here and we will once again eat together! And then, wait, what will be your answer if I proposed you for wedding?" he asked, suddely pouting, which made jimin laugh, and lean down to place a kiss on his pouty lips.
"Umm, how about, I will tell you when you will ask this to me?"
"Uhhhhh! Noooo! Tell me now! Then I am asking you this now! Will you marry me?"
"Uh-huh kookie! You asked your question of the day already. We promised that we will not ask more questions to each other."
"Wait but this can be an exception!"
"I will tell you when the war will end!" And with these words, jimin ran away from him giggling, which made jungkook stare at him with mouth wide open and eyes wide, making his stand up and chase his lover from behind.
"NOOOO TELL ME NOW! WILL YOU MARRY ME!? I CAN'T WAIT THIS LONG!"
"I WILL TELL YOU WHEN THE WAR WILL END KOOKIEEEE! I TOLD YOU ALREADY!" He said, as he ran around the forest while giggling, making jungkook smile his bunny smile too, as he chased him from behind.

After 5 years
Five years passed, and long, bloodshed war ended a year ago, with the defeat of Levania, which made Sarahania to take over the country finally.
A year passed from ever since the war ended, and it was the season of spring once again. The birds were singing on the trees, the butterflies were dancing on the beautiful flowers, the warm yet cold breeze was gently caressing the leaves and petals of the flowers, the fresh water was flowing in the rivers. Everything so beautiful, so pretty, as new trees, leaves, flowers grow in this season, making it look like, that the earth has born once again.
It was same for the forest where once the military of two countries used to meet, where once, it was a place of the resting of the people who were guarding their birth places, their land, their country.
But.
But now, it is just a graveyard of those promises, those incomplete promises, which could never be completed.
Both of them lied to each other, as non of them came back to that forest once again. Non of them completed their promise, and the unanswered question of the soldier, remained unanswered for the eternity.
