3. DINNER

Adhriti and Shanaya arrived at the Delhi railway station. The station was crowded, and they made their way to the taxi stand with their luggage. Adhriti checked her phone and saw that her brother Kavya had called.

"Shanaya, Kavya called," Adhriti said, smiling.

"Yes, talk to him," Shanaya replied.

Adhriti quickly dialed Kavya's number. Kavya answered immediately and said excitedly, "Di, have you reached Delhi? I just got free from my classes and called you right away."

"Yes, Kavya, we are just heading to our flat. You take care of yourself, we will talk once we reach," Adhriti replied, laughing.

"Okay, Di, you both take care. Bye!" Kavya said before hanging up.

Adhriti and Shanaya got into the taxi and headed towards their flat. After a short drive, the taxi stopped in front of the flat.

"This place looks really nice, Adi," Shanaya said, looking at the flat.

"Yes, I saw it in the photos. Let's go inside," Adhriti replied, smiling.

They grabbed their luggage and headed towards the gate. Adhriti unlocked the gate with the key, and they went inside. They were greeted by the caretaker of the flat.

"Namaste, madam. Welcome. I will show you the flat," the caretaker said.

Adhriti and Shanaya followed the caretaker inside. He showed them the rooms, kitchen, and balcony.

"This place is really nice, Shanaya. We're going to have a great time here," Adhriti said, looking at the room.

"Yes, this flat is perfect for us," Shanaya replied excitedly.

"If you need any help, let me know. I stay downstairs," the caretaker said.

"Thank you, bhaiya. We are fine for now," Adhriti replied.

The caretaker left, and Adhriti and Shanaya started unpacking their bags. Adhriti sent a message to Kavya, "We have reached the flat. Everything is fine. You take care."

Kavya replied, "Okay, Di, you both enjoy. See you tomorrow."

She called her parents and told them that she reached safely and the flat is also awesome.They asked her to take care of herself as well as of Shanaya also. Shanaya is just like a second daughter to them as they both were childhood buddies.

Adhriti and Shanaya were busy unpacking their bags when they heard a knock on the door. Adhriti opened the door to find a lady standing there.

Rita Aunty: "Namaste, beta! Main Rita hoon, aapke pados mein rehti hoon."

Adhriti: "Namaste, Aunty. Aaiye, andar aaiye."

Rita Aunty stepped inside and looked around the flat with approval.

Rita Aunty: "It's a lovely flat. If you need any help, just let me know. I work for boys just like my two sons here."

Shanaya: "Thank you so much, Aunty. We're new here, and your guidance will be really helpful."

Rita Aunty: "Bilkul beta. Aur aaj aap ek kaam karo, dinner main bhaj doongi aapko. Abhi pehle settle ho jao."

Adhriti: "Thank you, Aunty. You're so kind, but we will manage aap parshan na hoon."

Rita Aunty: "No problem, dear. Everyone helps each other here. "

Shanaya: "Thank you, aunty "

Rita Aunty: "Alright then. I'll be going now. Take care of yourselves."

Adhriti and Shanaya saw Rita Aunty off and then looked at each other with relief.

Adhriti: "She's so sweet. It feels nice to have such welcoming neighbors."

Shanaya: "Yes, definitely. This place is starting to feel even better now."

They continued unpacking, feeling more at home with the kindness shown by their new neighbor.

It's evening in a cozy home. The aroma of delicious dinner being cooked fills the air. Rita aunty is busy preparing dinner in the kitchen. The front door opens, and two tired young men, Aryansh and Dhruv, enter the house, returning from the hospital.
She brings water for both of them .
"Thankyou aunty" they said.
"Wah! Aunty aaj toh bahut achi khusboo aa rhi hai kya bna hai aaj khane main" dhruv says excitedly.
"Woh aaj matar paneer, masala bhindi,jeera aloo ,raita aur butter roti"she says.
"Arre wah! Aaj koi aa rha hai kya, muma yaan papa mujhe toh koi phone nhi aaya , surprise hai kya? Subu ne bhi nhi btaya"Aryansh get excited as it's been long he meet his parents and her princess.

"Nhi baba aaj na humare sath Wale flat main do ladkiyan rehne aayin hai toh maina socha ki woh tak gyi hongi toh khana bhaj do unhe bnake!"she said.
"Acha kiya aunty apne but ek kaam kriye unhe aap dinner pe hi invite kar dijiye "Aryansh said .
Dhruv teasingly says"Kyun Bhai tujhe bada invite wegra krne ka maan kr rha hai kya scene hai....🧐🤨..."
"Arre asa hi khe rha hoon-"
"Haan, pta hai mujhe😏😁"
" Tu pitega mujhe se "Aryansh said irritatingly.
"Chal chal"Dhruv said
"Main kar ke aaya invite tu sapne wali ke sath dhoka mat kr"Dhruv said and goes to invite.

After some time it's the dinner time and the girls are getting ready for the dinner. After locking the door Adhriti pressed the doorbell.
Aryansh was sitting on the sofa , he heard the bell & goes to open the door .
He was internally feeling something strange and nervous to open the door.
As soon as he opens the door
he say"Hi! Welcome -" and when he looks at the person his Breath stuck. There she was the dream girl of his dreams........
"AADU😲........."
