CHAPTER 12

HOSPITAL WARD ROOM:

Aditya was shocked to see Aarya there and was trying to grasp the news when she came near Aditya bend down to see the baby. She caressed his head while calling him "kanna" (an endearment used to call someone).

As soon as he heard her voice turned to see her while keeping his face on his father shoulder. His cries slowly started to subside and was hiccupping due to the immense crying session. He was just staring at her and when she forwarded her hands he immediately jumped into her arms not even waiting for a second.

There was an unknown peace on their faces by having each other so close. The happiness of their heart radiates on their faces. Everyone were shocked to see the whole scenario even the doctor's were stunned to see the boy who was crying from yesterday has calmed down by a presence of someone. Baby's pediatrician from his birth she was also present and gave a known look to Aditya who was giving her a confused look.

"What happened to my strong baby why was he crying ?" asked Aarya while caressing his head. In reply he just snuggled his head into her shoulder.
 "Was my baby missing me?"
"Umm..." 
"I missed you to kanna "she said while pecking his forehead in return he gave a sloppy kiss to her cheek.

There moment was interrupted by the doctor "Mr. Malhotra can you please lay him on the bed so we could check him"
"Sure Doctor" saying this he looked into Aarya's eyes she also nodded and was separating the baby from herself but he was being adamant and refused to go away from her. She looked at Aditya and raised her eyebrows.

"Doctor check him in her lap " Aditya requested Doctor
"Okay! Please sit on the bed and lay him in your lap Ms...." said Doctor and trailed of at the end not knowing the name.
"Sure Doctor! Myself Aarya" replied Aarya and looked at Aditya who got up from the bed and made place for her to sit comfortably and lay him on her lap. After the examination is done Doctor asked Aditya to come to her cabin to meet her and left the cabin.

Aditya and Rudra went to meet the doctor whereas Aarya and her parents stayed with the baby.

" How is he doing and what was the reason for him to get sick so suddenly." asked Aditya with a frown on his face.

"Mr. Malhotra you may fell what I am saying is stupid but that's the truth which your son needs" replied Doctor while leaning back on her chair.

"What do you mean Doctor say it clearly" asked Adi with worried eyes.

"Adi I was treating your son since he was born I have known all the complications of his and I also know that he never got a love of mother." replied Doctor with seriousness in her.

"But we all love him and take care of him" said Rudra.

"You are right Rudra you all love him and take care of him but Mother's love is Mother's love and NO one can change it. Even at times Father also cannot take place of Mother neither a Mother can take place of a Father." replied Doctor to Rudra .

"And your son is seeing a Mother in Aarya " told Doctor to Aditya.

Aditya was sitting there with a blank face as if he had expected this but listening from the Doctor he knew that his son needed it.

"So what are you suggesting by this" asked Adi while leaning on to the table.

"You are clever enough to understand this I guess" said Doctor with a smirk and Adi stood up and left the cabin to go to his son.

When he reached the ward room's door Aarya and his son were playing with each other whereas Aarya was making him drink milk while doing some animations and he was playing with her gold chain which she usually wears. He saw that her parent's weren't in the room so he went and sat on the couch.

"Thank you so much for coming here Aarya and where are Mr. & Mrs. Sharma" said Adi.

"They went to cafeteria we had a midnight flight and no need to thank me I was also worried about him so for my own satisfaction I came here." said Aarya while making the baby sleep.

"Ok" said Adi and sat quietly not knowing what to talk after his conversation with the doctor.

"Mr. Malhotra what did the Doctor said? What was the reason for him to get hospitalized?" asked Aarya worried for her kanna.

"We have admitted him due to his excessive crying and his lungs are a bit weak as you know he was premature kid by the time of his birth his lungs were fully not developed so Doctor said it can take 2 and half to three years for him to get healthier like normal babies " replied Adi but he wasn't able to give an answer for her first question.

"And What did the Doctor said" asked Aarya again,

"She said that he never got a love of mother and he is seeing You as his mother "

"WHATTT" there was a series of shouts in the background whereas Adi and Aarya were staring at each other one with blank whereas the otherone with shocked.
