CHAPTER 21

MALHOTRA MANSION:

Everyone was settled on the table waiting for the ladies to get breakfast and the baby was comfortably settled on his grandfather's lap while talking animatedly to him who was replying to him in the same way. After wishing everyone Aditya settled on his seat while yawning seeing which VIBE along with Rudra chuckled, Naksh commented "Looks like the night was long for the newlyweds." hearing that everyone laughed along with the elders. "It's not just long Naksh but it was tooooooooo long right Adi...." teased Roohi joining Naksh. Ladies came out of the kitchen with the dishes, seeing everyone laughing and Aditya glaring at everyone.

"Kya hogaya bhai aaj subah subah itni hassi aa rahi he app sabko" (What happened, everyone is laughing so much this morning) asked Aparna (Adi's badimaa).

"Kuch nai maa bas apke ladle ka taang kich reh hai" (Nothing mom, it's just that your darling son's leg is being pulled) replied Laksh while giggling but seeing Adi's glare he shut his mouth.

"Challo, Let's get started with breakfast," said Avantika. Everyone settled on the table, and Aarya served everyone a sweet dish as per the ritual. After serving, she settled beside Aditya and waited for everyone's reaction. She was anticipating until everyone had a bite. After getting a positive response from everyone, she was happy and looked at Aditya for his reaction, but there was none from his side, which upset her a bit.

"kya hua puttar tum mithaee kyon nahin kha rahi ho? " (What happened puttar why are you not eating sweets?) asked Raj looking at Aarya.

"Ji woo papa, I don't like sweets," replied Aarya while serving herself a paratha. When she looked up from her plate, she saw that everyone was staring at her as if they saw a ghost. She was confused and looked at Aditya, who shrugged his shoulders and continued having his sweet. 

"Bhabhi, what did you see in my brother that you agreed to marry him? You both are the opposite in every aspect. Bhai likes to have sweets after every meal," said Rudra. 

Aarya was staring at Aditya who was busy in his eating. Aditya turned to her when he felt a gaze on him and saw she had eaten only one paratha.

"Ek aur kale" (Eat one more) Aditya said looking at her. 

"I am not feeling to have anything. I will have fruits after some time." She replied to him while gulping off her last bite. Aditya didn't like the way she was taking food habits but chose to ignore it for now, As he wanted her to settle down first, he just nodded his head.

After completing breakfast everyone was settled in the living room when Aditya stood up and said that they were leaving for the hospital and gestured to Aarya who went up to get her bag. After returning from the room they left the home.

IN THE CAR:

The baby was comfortably settled in his mother's lap and was playing with her mangalsutra and Aarya was kissing his forehead.

"Aditya, aapney mujhe yah nahin bataaya ki aapko sweet kaisee lagee?" (Aditya, you didn't tell me how you liked the sweet?) 

"Kyu batana tah kya ?" (Why should I have said something?) replied Aditya while raising his eyebrow.

"Nothing " Saying this she turned her face and looked at her baby who was giggling to have his mother's attention on him.

After reaching the hospital they directly went to the baby's pediatrician. Soon after the checkup the doctor said "There is nothing to worry about, due to exhaustion from the wedding had led to the mild fever." 

"Doctor we are thinking of the annaprasan, as he entered his 7 month. So, Can we do that? " asked Aarya.

"You can do that, but make sure that you just make him lick the sweet as a part of the ritual. You can start feeding solids when the required weight is gained.", replied Doctor while looking at the baby who was snuggling into Aarya's chest and making a whining sound.
