CHAPTER 14

HOSPITAL WARD ROOM:

"Mr. Malhotra I want to have a talk to you in private" said Aarya.

"Now" asked in confused state.

"Adi you take Aarya to home both of you fresh-up , rest and have a talk properly then comeback" said Avantika enthusiastically.  

"No Aunty we can have a talk in the cafeteria and anyways if he (baby) wakes up and doesn't see Mr. Malhotra he would start crying" said Aarya as she was not comfortable to go their home and was also worried about her little baby as he cried so much just now.

"No beta he will not wake up so soon as he slept just now and he is under the effects of medicine. And in cafeteria you guys wouldn't be able to have a proper talk" said Avantika.

Aarya looked at her parents to appose this so Mr. Sharma said "That's fine Mrs. Malhotra but it won't be good. We have booked the rooms for our stay in a nearby hotel they can have a talk there and that won't cause a problem" 

"Mr. Sharma I am sorry and I know you have some principles but I want to take her to my home for safety purpose as I live in limelight there won't be privacy for us in such public places and I don't want Aarya to get into the limelight as of now. I assure Mr. Sharma that I would be no harm to her." said Aditya polietly as he doesn't want to offend her parents whereas Aarya was in aww of the way he thinks about the things carefully. Anand and Priya where at ease thinking he cares for her and nodded at her.

"Okay Aditya you take her with you. And thalli  your bag is down I will go and get it" said Anand.

"I will come with you Mr. Sharma." and looked at Aarya who said "I will join you guys in a bit" 

Aditya and Anand left and both were in awkward silence after a bit of silence Aditya started
"Umm...Mr. Sharma I am sorry for the trouble caused to you guys because of my family and there is no need for you guys to accept the proposal due to my family's pressure you just tell me and I would take care of that"

"Aditya... Can I call You that" asked Anand.

"Yes Mr. Sharma" said Aditya nodding his head.

"It's because of this yours and ours is a complete different background we call people with relations and respect to them but you guys address people formally just like you did now. When your parents came with your proposal we have denied because ours is a orthodox family. In our family love is taboo as if we committed a big sin. And that's the reason none of my children had love marriage. Even if we had said that your guys is an arranged marriage no one would believe us due to the cultural, social , financial difference  between us. And we didn't want any person to point out on our daughter." said Anand about the reason for their proposal. 

"But Uncle why are you having a second thoughts about this proposal now" asked Aditya confused.

"Because My daughter loves your son got it" said Anand.

"NO" replied Aditya still confused about the things taking place in his life.

"My daughter is a bit emotional person Aditya you can even say that she is an emotional fool but she won't show her emotions to anyone not even us no one can predict what she is thinking except her. Will you believe me if I said I saw her cry when she was in her schooling after that I never saw her cry. But she cried for your son and My daughter madly loves your son when Rudra said that he was hospitalized she cried so much that she was near to a panic attack and believe me that was the first time we saw her so vulnerable. She was never a person who demand things that was the first time she asked me to get her to your son."
