Cassopiea Victoria Potter was not having a good day. This morning, she found out that Dumbledore had challenged Sirius for her complete custody, claiming that Azkaban had caused him mental damage. Remus was not an option because he was a known werewolf. The Weasleys, apart from Arthur, Bill, Charlie, Fred, and George, made her heave. The connection with Marvolo was overflowing with anger and causing her a headache.

She was just tired. Tired of everything. Tired of fighting battles that weren't hers. She just wanted to survive and protect her child. And maybe, just maybe, she wished someone would protect her. She wanted family.

She cried in the Black family library, her tears staining the ancient wooden table. As she wiped her eyes, she noticed an ancient-looking tome on one of the shelves. The cover was worn, and the title read, "Sanguis Magica et Ars Necromantia"—Blood Magic and the Art of Necromancy. Intrigued, she flipped the book open to see the author's name: Cassiopeia Black.

"Ha, my namesake was a necromancer," she thought, amused. She settled into a chair and started reading, letting the ancient words distract her from her troubles.

BLOOD MAGICblood magic: is a kind of magic based on the employment of blood, which is an important component in many rituals, spells, and other aspects of the supernatural world. The power of blood magic lies in its intimate connection to life itself; the very essence of a being is contained within their blood, making it a potent and versatile tool for those who understand its secrets.

In its most basic form, blood magic involves the use of one's own blood to cast spells or perform rituals. This can range from simple charms and hexes to more complex enchantments and invocations. Blood can serve as a medium for channeling magical energy, amplifying the caster's intent and binding the magic to their very life force.

The supernatural properties of the user's blood can lead to the inheritance of specific magical blood-based powers. These abilities, known as Blood Manipulation, allow the caster to influence, control, and even transform their blood for various purposes. Examples of blood-based powers include:

Hemomancy: The ability to control and manipulate blood, both within oneself and in others. This power can be used to heal wounds, cause harm, or even control another person's movements by manipulating the blood within their veins.

Blood Bonding: Creating a mystical connection between individuals through the sharing or mingling of blood. This bond can enhance magical abilities, create unbreakable oaths, or even link the life forces of the bonded individuals.

Blood Runes: Inscribing runes or symbols with one's own blood to create powerful enchantments. These runes can serve various purposes, from protection spells to summoning rituals, and their potency is directly tied to the caster's life force.

Necromancy: Utilizing blood magic to interact with the dead. This can involve summoning spirits, reanimating corpses, or even absorbing the life force of others to prolong one's own life.

Blood magic is not without its risks. The use of one's own blood can lead to physical and magical exhaustion, and the inherent danger of blood manipulation means that mistakes can have dire consequences. It is a practice that requires caution, respect, and a deep understanding of the intricacies involved.
