Y/n widened her eyes in shock, still staring at Saiki. "Hello, Earth to Y/n," Aren said. Y/n shook her head and snapped out of her trance, finally coming to terms with the new information: She's no longer the only psychic. Saiki was still oblivious to this, but he would find out sooner or later. Everyone at the table besides Saiki and Y/n continued on with their conversations. The lunch bell rang shortly after, and Y/n ran straight to the bathroom. 'What on Earth have I just discovered?'  Y/n thought. She spent her whole life thinking of how different she was to others, and how she'd forever have to keep a secret... but this could lead to a different outcome.

Y/n walked back to class, still in complete disbelief, I mean her entire perspective of the future was altered. "Your late." The teacher said sternly. "Sorry Mister, I got lost," Y/n lied. She sat next to the purpled haired boy once again, struggling not to rip her own hair out at his tainted thoughts. "Class!" The teacher exclaimed. "I've figured it'd be unfair to keep you all separated from your friends for the entire year, so choose wisely!"

All of the students hopped from their chairs, arranging seating plans. Teruhashi then approached the pink haired boy, but before she could reach him, someone else took her spot. 'Y/n? What are you doing!?'  Teruhashi thought angrily. Y/n had no idea, in fact it seems as though she was being controlled. Truth be told, Saiki analyzed the entire class the minute he walked in, knowing they'd have to choose seats. Saiki shifted between people who'd give him the most and least attention, and he landed on Y/n. She began trying to maneuver out of the seat to give it to Teruhashi, but a strange force of gravity came down on her. 'Sorry Teruhashi, spot's taken' Saiki spoke coldly. Y/n sat in her chair dumbfounded. 'Y/n, What a nuisance.. He likes me just know that'  Teruhashi thought. Saiki's suspicions about Y/n were confirmed when she mumbled, "A nuisance?" Y/n quickly covered her mouth and froze to avoid any confrontation. 'Good grief. It's always something new.' Saiki thought.

On the way home...

"I think you and me are gonna get along" Nendou said to Y/n while smiling. Nendou only thought that because both Y/n and Saiki adopted the same mannerisms. Nendou threw his heavy arm on Y/n's shoulder causing her to stumble. "Heh..." Y/n said silently. While Nendou was oblivious, Kaidou and Aren felt the extreme tension from Y/n and Saiki, even though it wasn't the tension they wanted. Kaidou and Aren exchanged glances and then began poking Saiki. "Ooooh!" They exclaimed. Y/n didn't even have to ask to know what they were getting at, their thoughts told her all she needed to know. 'Stop.' Saiki said sternly, but they didn't bother. Saiki had just met Y/n today and Kaidou and Aren already jumped to accusations.

They'd finally laid off and started a normal conversation. "Say, Nendou, are you excited for the field trip!?" Kaidou said. "Kaidou you didn't even have to ask me that. We've only been waiting since Freshmam year!" Nendou replied. Y/n listened to their conversation, slightly concerned. Based on their conversation, Y/n figured out they'd be going to the beach and staying in a hotel in the meantime. 'There's no way for me to avoid this trip with my grandparents knowing about it, is there?' Y/n thought.

At Y/n's home...

"Ah, Y/n you've made it home! How was your first day of school?" Y/n's grandma asked cheerfully. "It was very interesting.. to say the least. I'm tired though grandma, so I'm gonna head upstairs" Y/n said, excited to lay in bed. "Ohh that's too bad.. I already told the neighbors you'd babysit their kid..." Y/n's grandma said dreadfully. "Grandma, oh sweet grandma.. why would you do that!?" Y/n said trying to stay calm. After endless bickering between Y/n and her grandma, the doorbell rang.

Y/n quickly changed her attitude and reluctantly opened the front door. "Well hello there little one! What's your name?" Y/n asked now in awe of the little boy. "My names Yuuta" the boy said excitedly. Yuuta insisted that Y/n put on CiderMan. After about 40 minutes of pretending to be interested in the show, Y/n actually started to enjoy it. Y/n was sprawled out on the couch with a bowl of popcorn balancing on her chest, occasionally dropping popcorn from her hand into the crevices of the couch. "Ms. L/N...?" Yuuta asked sweetly. "Yes Yuuta?" Y/n responded, wiping the butter off her hands. Before Yuuta even got to utter his question Y/n read his mind. He wanted to go see Saiki. "Can we go see Cider Man?" Yuuta asked obliviously. Y/n didn't want to disappoint him, so she hesitantly accepted his request.

Yuuta grabbed Y/n's hand and lead her out of the house, and Y/n tried her best to act as if she had no idea where they were headed. "Yuuta.. why do you call him Cider Man?" Y/n asked, wanting more information on Saiki. "Well, one day my balloon flew into the air, and Cider Man jumped so high into the air, like I'm talking really high!" Yuuta exclaimed. Y/n nodded and pondered about what the little boy had just said, not realizing they'd arrived at Saiki's home. Yuuta screaming "Cider Man!" Snapped Y/n out of her trance. "Oh hey Saiki! Yuuta wanted to see you.." Y/n trailed off nervously. 'Good grief. I suppose it'd do me good to figure out what was up with this girl.' Saiki thought. Y/n strained herself trying to figure out what he was thinking of, but to no avail. 'I'll go.' Saiki "spoke".

Walking downtown...

Saiki stood on the right of Yuuta, holding his hand, while Y/n stood on the left doing the same. Y/n and Saiki managed to scrape some thoughts off of passerby's. Their thoughts consisted of, "Oh what an attractive family," and "Aren't they a little too young?". After passing many shops, Yuuta finally stopped us. "Guys, guys! Let's get ice cream," Yuuta yelled a little too loudly. Suddenly Teruhashi spotted us and her thoughts began to stir a headache up for Y/n and Saiki. 'HOW DARE SHE COME PRANCING INTO SAIKI'S LIFE LIKE THAT?' Teruhashi thought angrily. Suddenly Y/n heard that fake implemented voice of Saiki's. 'Y/n tell me the truth.. are you a psychic?' Saiki asked. Saiki didn't really need to ask, but being as he couldn't read her mind, there was only one way for him to confirm his suspicions. Y/n spoke back to Saiki telepathically, wanting to clear any doubts and make it believable. 'Possibly..' Y/n said defeatedly. 'Hm.' Saiki replied.

Teruhashi's thoughts became louder and louder as she approached us. "Well hello there Yuuta!" Teruhashi exclaimed cutely. Y/n let out an annoyed sigh that Saiki noticed. "Teruhashi! What are you doing here?" Y/n asked slightly agitated by her fake innocent demeanor. "Oh I'm here with my brother to see the Cider Man play," Teruhashi replied. Almost on que, Teruhashi's brother walked out of a store with a few bags. Y/n greeted him with a simple "Hi!". Teruhashi's brother let out a "hmph" sound, but Y/n saw right through his facade. 'Hm... she's cute, BUT SHE WILL NEVER AMOUNT TO MY SISTER KOKOMI' Teruhashi's brother thought. Y/n expressed her disgust by her face and walked into the ice cream shop, still holding Yuuta's hand, Saiki following in after. We then ordered Ice cream, both me and Yuuta getting mint chocolate chip and Saiki getting Chocolate..

I think this is a pretty decent sized chapter, but the story is developing so quickly I'm thinking of switching to first person,  just to get that emotional feel from Y/n. I hope you enjoyed this chapter <3
