Black Dragon

Sakura couldn't believe how the atmosphere suddenly became heavy, almost suffocating. They fought alongside the top executives of Black Dragon and within a split second, they were the only ones standing.

Inui and Suo both tended to Zenitsu. But it was far from over.

Mei walked towards them as she slipped in her white gloves. "So, who's in charge here?"

Shingo was still trying to fight to regain his consciousness after getting beaten to a pulp when he felt his whole body froze, the moment his eyes met hers'.

"Ah you. It's you right?" Shingo dug his nails against the ground. There's no way he'll let this chick scare him, she's just the chinese brothers' lackey.

Shingo went to attack Mei but he haven't gotten a chance to approach him when he felt something strike his head. He did not see anything himself as he crashed against the metal barrels.

"Oi come on don't be rude when I'm talkin'."

Sakura gritted his teeth, he had to stop this. He took one step forward but then he immediately felt a firm hand on his chest stopping him, Taiju grinned. "Hey come on. Enjoy the show."

He glared at him, he would've beaten him right here right now, but he wouldn't want to escalate the situation any further. Sakura's focus was on her, and he didn't bother to remove his gaze. It was like staring at a complete different person.

"First you steal from me, then you had some nerve to lay your hands on my brother. It's like you're going for a record." Mei hovered on top of him and grabbed his collar. Her fists continuously pummeled his face that she didn't leave time to get him to catch his breath. The punches got heavier and heavier as if she was a new-built machine with no remorse.

"Oi. Open your eyes." She commanded. Shingo's hands were shaking as he tried to comply with her request but the moment he opened his eyes her fist immediately slammed against his face again. Every nerve on his face ached it was as if he could feel himself crying blood.

"Mei that's enough!" Sakura yelled.

Suo's eyes were wide opened as he tried to compose himself to help Zenitsu, but he can't believe he's starting to get concerned for Shingo. "Is he...gonna be okay?"

"It's his fault anyway. What a moron." His eyes darted at the ashy-blonde haired man with a stoic face known as Inui. "If he's gonna screw someone he should've at least did a little background check."

Sugishita watched wide-eyed as Mei relentlessly pummeled Shingo with only her fists, the uneasiness crept to him. He was familiar with that all too well, she's not yet done, and nothing could make her stop.

The deafening sound of the metal table scrapping against the ground echoed throughout the base, no one dared to move an inch or to help their comrade. Helping Shingo means taking his place, and no one wants to take his place right now, not with that monster breathing on his neck.
