The same day, 7:12 P.M.
The evening arrived very quickly, Sombra and Amélie decided to go to Overwatch HQ to be enrolled. It was a pretty simple choice for them. Mercy had thought they would be great assets to Overwatch. Their stories had touched her a lot too, she wanted to see them again in some way or another, so she asked them to join Overwatch.
They have prepared some business Amélie has equipped herself with her sniper rifle, as for Sombra, she put on all her implants and took her translocator with her and they got back in their pickup and set off for Overwatch HQ. But once both are installed in the pickup, Sombra expresses herself :
- Wait a second, stay in the vehicle I'll be back in 2 minutes. I forgot something.
- No problem. (Reply Amélie.)
Sombra gets out of the vehicle, and rushes inside the apartment and goes up to her room and gets her plans from a new experimental upper sight for Amélie's sniper rifle that she jealously guards. She puts it in a large bag and goes outside, locks the apartment and returns to the vehicle, places the bag and prepares to leave.
The two women are on their way now for several hours. They're talking about a little bit of everything.
- I thought of something rather ironic earlier. (Says Sombra.)
- About what ?
- Tracer works for Overwatch. And it seems to me that you failed to kill her.
- I didn't failed. She was just an obstacle and yet I fulfilled my mission. Zenyatta's brother had to be killed, I did.
- Just seeing you talking to her is gonna be fun. (Reply Sombra as she laugh.)
- The misfortune of others always rejoices you.
- She will not try anything, you can be sure of that and I can be sure that some members will be reluctant to see us enter their infrastructures, talk to them and even see us.
- They must have had a debriefing.
- Probably, I warned Mercy that we are coming anyway, she already must have alerted half the Earth.
- Ahaha, yes, probably.
After contacting Mercy to warn of their coming into the Overwatch team, Mercy and Winston have given them a special location and they will arrive with the ship to take them directly to HQ faster to discuss all together on the way. Sombra and Amélie are still on their way to the secret destination.
For another hour and a half, their road continued until they entered a path and stopped near another town with a vast green and sandy ground.
