Chapter One

CHAPTER ONE

• AUTHOR'S POV •

@Kundra Mansion

The sun that had appeared early in the morning, now has set in the West and made it's way towards it's home while the sky that was bathing the atmosphere with the bright light had now turned dark with uncountable bright stars adoring it with the brightest moon adding to its beauty..

Everyone was now back to home from their work or the university.. And as per the custom of the family, everyone had their dinner together and then retired to their respective rooms and called it for the day..

While in the room of elder kundra's, that is, Mr. Samay and Anahita Kundra, the couple after freshening up, sat on the sofa on their window corner,to have their usual night conversation, which was their ritual for like years now..

After sitting in a comfortable silence for a while, Samay Kundra, or better Papa Kundra said,

"I got a marriage proposal for Karan today.."

While Anahita Kundra or say Mumma Kundra asked being excited,

"Who's the girl??How is she?? Is she beautiful?? Does she have a good nature??"

And so on showered her innumerable questions on Papa Kundra..

"The girl is Tejasswi Prakash, the daughter of our business associate, Nihaal Prakash.."

Said Samay Kundra,stopping Anahita's excited rant about the girl whose proposal they got for their Karan..

"Uhhmm, Tejasswi,that great business woman?? I have heard about her business ethics and her works and I must say she is quite a tough personality but yet good human..What do you think of her??" Said Anahita..

"If you ask about my opinion,then according to her work and business,i can say, she is a wonderful person as I have met her twice or thrice due to the matters related to business and also nature wise ahe is a polite person but yeah if you asked about her work personality then there comes her cold and arrogant aura but a caring person to her team yet strict just like Karan.." Replied Samay..

"Hmm..I think we should meet her once or twice so that we could get to know her personally but yeah let's talk first to Karan about this proposal.."
Said Anahita, while Samay stayed lost in his thoughts and hence, she then asked him about it which broke his reverie of thoughts and hence he then spoke,

"Hmm..We should but before that I need to tell you something about her.."

As Anahita blinked her eyes in response, Samay continued,remembering his conversation with Nihaal, who had narrated his daughter's past in brief as to have an idea about her past, but that wasn't into detail..

"Tejasswi have a five month old daughter.." Saying so, he narrated everything to his wife which he knew..

"That girl really has endured a lot..and for a fact I do know that it's not easy to live as a single parent in this society..Poor girl, has suffered a lot..And if I say one thing truly na, then a baby requires both the parents equally..Samay, if you ask my opinion, I don't have any problem with this proposal,even she deserves to be happy and that little baby too deserves the fatherly affection and love and I would be really glad if our Karan turns out to be that person in her life..What do you say? " Said Anahita..

"Our opinions are same love.." Replied Samay..

"Now as you don't have any problem,we need to talk to Karan about this too and yeah not to forget if her agrees to this then he need to meet Nihaal first,before meeting his daughter and grandchild..We also need to Inform this to Aaroohi, Riva and Aditya.." Samay continued..

"Hmm..I so hope that our children too agree with us on this.." Said Anahita..

While they both too called it for the day after their night talk..

The sun again returned for his duty the next day and bathed the atmosphere with his warmth, marking the morning.. The morning was same fir the Kundra's, that is, they all were having their breakfast together at the dining table..

That's when, Samay and Anahita broke the news of proposal to the kids.. While he too told about Tejasswi being a single parent and then asked Karan about what's his view on this proposal..

"Mumma, Papa, I don't have any problem with her being a single parent until and unless she is a genuine person.." Karan Replied..

"Am proud of you Bacha.." Said his Mother, Anahita..

"What do you think,Aaroohi??" Asked Samay, Papa Kundra..

"Papa, what problem would I have? Like if bhai is happy then all sorted and anyways he need to spend his life her not me..But yeah, I would really wanna check if she is genuine or not, and not to leave the fact that am excited to meet her.." Replied Aaroohi, being protective about her big bro..

"Hmm..i kind of expected this..So, Karan would you like to proceed with this proposal??" Asked Papa Kundra..

While Karan nodded, and then Samay sent him the photo of Tejasswi, which was with Kiana.. Both the siblings when saw the photo went aww on the cuteness of mother- daughter duo..

They also informed Riva about the proposal and too discussed about the same with her.. As she too didn't have any problem with it, they thought to proceed with it.. But yeah, Riva had made clear that she will have a one on one conversation with Tejasswi,when they meet her family as she is quite protective about her siblings..

As Nihaal's request, Karan too met him the same day and then they had the one on one conversation where Nihaal gave Karan an insight to Tejasswi's past a bit..

While Nihaal too said that,

"Karan, she may seen that cold person and the one who doesn't need anyone in her life but deep down she really needs someone who can provide her with that emotional support and warmth, which she misses now..I know my daughter,she won't show anything on her face but she is shaken after that incident,when her partner left her, she had lost every hope with her life but right now if she is alive then that's only because of Kia as she found,after a month of his leaving, that she is pregnant..If you are really seeing her for marriage then please be patient with her and my grandchild..as I love bith of them from bottom of my heart and can do anything for both of them.."

While Karan assured him that he would be patient and always be there for both of them and would try hia best to provide Tejasswi with the partner's warmth while Kiana with fatherly love..

Nihaal being satisfied with his reply and talk with him, invited his family to his mansion the next day to meet Tejasswi and Kiana..
