I DIDN'T know what came to mind when I said to Waki, "Don't leave me." People come and go, but I remain strong, unbothered by their absence. I know my worth, and I don't need anyone to validate it.

If someone decides to leave, it's their loss, not mine. I've built this life on my terms, and I'll continue to thrive, with or without them.

I just rolled my eyes dahil don.

After hearing SPO1 Santacera, Jerk Melagrosa started jumping for joy. He was even punching the air with his right fist.

Sole, Tina, and I just looked at him as if he was losing his mind. He simply smiled at us and even did a fist bump with Waki. "Mga repa, see you in class ha," he said while walking out the door.

He's our classmate in Sir Adena's class.

"Ail, look at my favorite shirt. See, argh, I'm just gonna buy a new one," naiinis na  sabi ni Sole habang patuloy na pinupunasan ang tuyong shirt ng wipes.

Tina opened her black leather attache case and pulled out a shirt. "Just wear this one. Did you know that for chocolate drink stains, applying baking soda to the stain before rinsing with water is more effective?" she said with a smirk.

Nagtaas ng kilay si Sole kay Tina. "Enough with your trivia, Tina! Look, ang lagkit-lagkit ko na!" she said, clearly annoyed and frustrated.

Habang nagtatalo sila, I looked at Waki, knowing he would say again:

"Ihahatid na kita kila Tita, Ail. This is for your own good. Tito and Tita don't want anything bad to happen to you," he seriously said to me.

I glared at him.

"You know what, Waki. Anong 'Tito doesn't want anything bad to happen to you'? He just threw me into his business arrangement to marry someone for his own gain. It's not about my safety; it's about making himself richer!" I retorted, clearly frustrated.
