I don't remember much from the incident. I'm laying down on a hospital bed with doctors  surrounding me. I can hardly make out what they're saying, but I don't wanna know anyway. But where are the others? Did they not make it? That's a good thing though-. Ellis. Did he make it? From what I can make out of the doctors conversations, 'This girl is the only survivor of the household," I don't think he did. But, how did I survive? I was the one closest to the fire.
That doesn't matter now. As long as William and Victor are gone then that's fine. But Lily's probably ran away, which also hurts. This is all William's fault. When the doctors leave the room, I break down in tears.
Days later, I've been brought to an adoption centre. The doctors said it was 'beneficial' for me to find a new family as soon as possible. I don't want a new family. They could be like William, or worse. I don't want to be adopted by some strangers.
It's been a week since I came to the adoption centre and I've seen over ten families now, but how one wants me. I mean, I can't blame them. Who would want an eleven year old girl, who has been abused and most likely has trauma? But whatever. I don't care. I'm off to see another family today, the Raye's. Apparently, they're really rich scientists and have two twin girls. I don't really remember much from what the caretakers told me. I didn't pay much attention. As I'm pondering in my thoughts, I hear s voice say, "Hello there."
