Chapter 1: Bubble gone...

I'm sorry if some characters act out of character guys.
Don't expect anything too great, I'm not that experienced at writing intense scenes :(

Warning: injury's and possible gore

Chapter 1

Ruby came running back to Pencil, match, Book and ice cube.
And told them that Bubble was trying to kill her.
This led to confusion,
'Yeah right, like we'd believe that.' Pencil scoffed.
'I see where pencil is coming from, Bubble isn't usually violent (enough) to commit to that sort of thing. Where is she?' Book questioned the gem.

Ruby hesitantly led the group to the place
It happened, bubble was nowhere to be seen.
Then a shadow struck Ice cube to the ground.
'Hey, like, who did that?' Match demanded.
Then they carried on walking, pencil decided that they should all walk in a small area so that it was easier to protect eachother.

Well that did not work...

Ice cube must have been the main target as she was hit again, this time it took out a whole chunk of ice off her.
The rest of the group were horrified.
'Ice cube! Are you okay?' book gently hugged her icy friend.
'OF COURSE SHE'S NOT! LOOK AT HER!' Pencil shouted out, pointing at ice cube's missing chunk.
A distorted noise was heard.
Everyone turned to it, it was bubble.

But she looked... Different.

Everyone stood there. Shocked.
'Did you do this bubble?! Or whatever you are?!' Book asked pointing accusingly at her.
Her only response was a growl and a swoosh as the bubble snatched ice cube.
'HEY!' Book shouted.
Then...
She ate ice cube.
Bubble actually ate her.

Silence.

Then came the screams of match, pencil and Ruby.
Book did more of a growl of frustration.
'HOW DARE YOU EAT MY FRIEND!' Book rushed up to the bubble expecting to hear a pop.

Nope.

Bubble dodged and grabbed book by the arm, yeeting her into the distance.

Books POV

I slowly sat up, what just happened?
I quickly recalled recent events, oh no, they must have been eaten by now! By that... Thing that looks like bubble... Why?
I then realised, I should probably warn everyone about this, and recover the others.

I quickly ran to the HPRC and typed in ice cube, Match, Ruby, Pencil...
Wait...
Ruby and pencil are still alive. Where are they?

Back to narrator

Unbeknownst to book, Ice cube had woken up. She still had a dent from loosing a chunk of her ice, but she had the same glitch effects as that bubble had.
She smiled menacingly and whispered
'Revenge!'
She kicked book in the back cover.
'OWCH! huh?'
She turned and looked at ice cube, match had got up too, but she was normal.
The same couldn't be said for ice cube.
'Where are like, ruby and pencil?' Match asked while backing away from the glitching ice cube.

'We'll have to find them later.. for now.
RUN!'
Book and Match sprinted off.

'I think. We. Lost. It.' Pencil panted, while leaning against a rock holding a crack across her eye.
'I sure hope so pencil.' Ruby said shivering, looking concerned at pencil's crack across her eye.
Pencil noticed this.
'dont worry about me Ruby. I'm fine.' Pencil lied.
'But pence pe-   I mean pencil, you seemed to be in a lot of pain earlier.' Ruby observed.
Pencil looked down for a brief moment before saying 'lets just, find the others. okay?'

Bubble truly was lost.

How could ya loose em?! They will tell everyone about this, then my species will be found out!

Goish, soirry...

Oh you will be...

Pencil peeped out of the rock.
Coast is clear.
'lets go Ruby! Come on!' Pencil and Ruby rushed away from Bubble's direction.

They managed to bump into match and book.
'pence pence!'
'Matchy!'
They hugged :)

'woah, like what happened?' she said motioning to her besties face.
'pshh, oh, it's fine.' Pencil waved her hand to show it.
'what happened to those two anyway?' Ruby asked not expecting book to find an answer.
'They are being controlled. Buuut...'
'buuut?' Ruby mimicked
'Buuut. By whom?' book finished.
'We need to like, warn everyone!'
'yeah!' Book and Ruby cheered in agreement.
Match noticed pencil was a bit off so went to check on her in the freesmart van.

Ruby and book went on telling people, some believed them, some didn't, some just stayed aware just in case.
Everyone was talking about it.

Inside bubble's mind

Our chance to kill and infect people has gone down significantly.
I say we kill the match or pencil, this could cause some mental damage 😈

What?! No!

Suit yourself,
(Sarcastically) it's not like they were cruel to you at any point or anything.

Wh-what do you mean?

You know match and pencil, they sure are assholes.

Rude.

But it's true my owner.
Let's make them suffer... Infect one, mentally torture the other, it's that simple.

And if I don't?

I'll do worse than that crack on pencil.
You could barely stand me doing that.

I know she can be mean, but, she looked in a lot of pain! :(

So what will it be bubble?

So yeah, I can't really write Bubble's accent so just imagine her voice XD.

So what's (infected) Bubble gonna do? 🤔
