Tennis ball helped book into the supervan, her cover was now a little ripped and tatty and her left side was glitching out.
'maybe we should have come up with a plan b...' Ruby sighed.
Pencil saw book in the state she was in.
'Is she, gonna be okay?'
Tennis ball looked uncertain.
'For now.'
Book sat down next to Ruby, Ruby silently comforted her.
Then she whipped out a pile of gumdrops and offered her some, along with pencil, match and bubble.
Bubble was the only one to accept her offer.
The van was being driven by Tennis ball now. Pencil was too tired to protest against it.
In fact, everyone was pretty much a mess at this point.
