Alexios Pov:

I woke up. I lift my head to see the kids gone. "Morning, Alexios." I looked to see rhaenyra sitting in a chair. There was a knock on the door. "Come in." The door open to reveal leanor. "Morning you two." He said to use. "Morning." I said to him. "I saw you two out on the beach last night." He said to us. I sighed. "She knows." Rhaenyra said to him. He looked at me. He walked over to me.

He sat down. "How do you feel about it?" He asked me. I took a deep breath. I had to collect my thoughts. "I don't know yet, and eventually I will. What hurt the most that I was kept in the dark. The fact that everyone but me know. That is what hurts the most. I trusted you guys. Guess it wasn't enough." I said.

"Alexios, we did it bec-" I cut him off. "I don't want to hear some lame excuse. I want the truth because I don't remember anything when I was young. There are some, but before that, I don't remember shit." I said with an angry tone. "Rhaenyra, I think it best if you told her." Laenor said.

Rhaenyra nodded. "Mother told me it was because of a political reason and that they couldn't produce an heir." She said. So I was just for a political reason. "It was Viserys idea. Mother didn't like it. They fought about it. Mother wasn't too happy, but she knew she didn't have a say in it. I was too young, still a baby. Didn't understand why they gave away my older sister." I buried my head into my hands. "So my own brother isn't my brother?" I asked. I looked at rhaenyra. "No, but he still is since you grow up with him." She said.

"What else is there to know?" I asked her. "Your name is not Alexios." Rhaenyra said as she looked away. "The fuck you mean? My name is alexios on the family tree, plus everyone called me that." Another thing I don't know. "You are name after Maegor. So your name is Maegor II Targaryen. We just covered it." Omg, the last person I ever wanted to be named after. Let's hope I'm never sitting on the iron throne. We all know how he died. "I feel like y'all know more shit about me than myself." I said.

"Why am I named after someone like Maegor the cruel. I'm not ever cruel. It's like calling a dragon flower. I'm not like Maegor." I said. It's like Viserys had it out with me as a child. A childhood I don't remember. "You should have seen mom face. She looked at him like hes crazy." I sighed. I'm not even mean or cruel. Well i could be mean. He's probably looking up at me, disappointed that I'm not cruel.

"So either you go by Maegor or Alexios that's up to you." Rhaenyra said to me. I sighed and shook my head. "But I'll let you think on that." I hope that the end of this. I can't take anymore. Why me, tho? I'll never know. "I'm not having six wives like him. I only need you and no one else." I said. "Good. I don't share." She said to me.

"Also, your shape-shifting ability isn't one of a kind, but on the other hand, it is." She said to me. I across my arms over my chest. I should have kept my mouth shut. "Explain?" I asked. "Every house has it. Targaryen can turn into dragons. Starks can turn into direwolf. Velaryon can turn into aquatic animals. I think you understand the rest of the houses. But you can shapeshift into dragon and direwolf and aquatic animals. Which we never understand why." She said.

I nodded. "So me claiming wave wasn't because of me being able to shift into a dragon. It was because I really have Valyrian Blood in me." Rhaenyra nodded. I sighed. Here me thinking I'm special. "I know it hurt, Alexios. But you will always be special to me to your family." I felt hand touch my shoulder. I turned to see it was laenor. "Thank you." I said to him. "No problem, but she right. You're still special to us." He said to me.

I looked at the crown of the north. "Do I even deserve this?" I said. "You do. Rickon made you his heir. You worked your ass off to get it. Everyone knows how hard you worked for it. I will not let anyone take that from you." I smiled at what she said. I watched laenor sit in a chair in front of rhaenyra.
