Alexios Pov:

I opened my eyes. I lift my head to see Titan and assan at the end of the bed sleeping. I looked to see rhaenyra side of the bed to see her gone. I laid my head down and sighed. The door opened. I looked to see rhaenyra. She walked over. "How are you feeling?" Rhaenyra asked. "It hurts but not as bad as before. I'll be ok." I said to her. "Good." She said. She checks my head for a fever. "No fever yet, but we can't be too careful." She said.

"What have you been doing since I been out?" I asked rhaenyra. "Keeping myself busy. Talking with laenor and then alicent and my father." I nodded. "Then my boobies start to leak in the meeting with my father and alicent. It was embarrassing." She said to me. "Dear, I missed a lot." I said.

"You did, but you don't have to worry." She said to me. "Let get you up." Rhaenyra said. She helped me out of bed. I leaned on a chair while she got my shirt and boots. She walked back over. "Sit." She said. I sat in the chair. She passed me my shirt. I put it on while she put my boots on. "We going for a walk." Rhaenyra said. I nodded. She helped me up. We left the room.

I sighed. "You ok?" She asked me. "I'm fine." I said. We kept walking. "I was worried about you. You didn't come home. I was about to send out a search party." She said to me. "Laenor told me. I went out for drinks. Didn't realize I would have to deal with harwin." I said to him. Asshole got what was coming to him. "But you're safe now, alexios." She said. I groan in pain. "Shit." I said to myself. "Lean on me." She said.

I leaned onto rhaenyra. We kept walking until we were in the training yard. I see Ezrah watching laenor train. "A word?" Rhaenyra said to lanor. "We're finish here. We're leaving." Huh? I missed something again. Damn it. "What of your offer? Jace and helaena?" I was sleeping and missed something. "I have been undermined and made a spectacle. They whisper about me in the corridors. Well, I leave them to it." Rhaenyra said, then put an arm around my waist.

"To dragonstone then?" Laenor said. It's been a while for me since I been there. Nice place. Rhaenyra nodded. "We should've left years ago." Rhaenyra said. I felt blood leak from my wound, but I didn't say anything. We turned around and left laenor. But he followed. "What of tour position?" I want to make a sexual joke, but it's not the time. Rhaenyra turned around. "You've always said if you were sbsent from court, she would pour her honey in your father's ear." Sounds like something alicent would do. "The wise dailir flees the storm as it gathers." She said.

I shift my weight. "Laenor... bring him. We need every sword we can muster." Rhaenyra said, then we walked away.

Timeskip to the next day.

I was in Diftmark. I flew on wave for my ex-wife funeral. I was next to rhaenys. Mine and laena kids next to me. I had my hands on their shoulders. I would miss Laena. She was the first one I came out to, and that wasn't my family. She had accepted me for who I am. She was the reason I kept going. She also made me see my feelings for Rhaenyra. She was a big part of me.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't crying. I fucking was. There were people here that I hated. Alicent and Aegon and Viserys and Daemon and Otto and cole. I kept to myself, tho. Leanor and Rhaenyra and her kids were behind me. Laenor had a hand on my shoulder for support and comfort. I stayed quiet. I kept feeling alicent looking at me. Dear lord. Can she stop? I'm at my ex-wife funeral. Plus, my soon to be wife is behind me. I sighed. "You'll be ok." I heard laenor say. Maybe. I don't know. I just nodded.

"He right." Rhaenyra pulled down my head to her height and kissed my forehead. "You have us to get through this hard time. I promise." Rhaenyra said to me. The kids also nodded. They are the best people can have. I looked over at my mother. "You'll be ok, sweetie." Pearl, my mother said to me. She pulled me into a hug. I cried into my mother shoulder. She rubbed my back.

I was pulled away from my mother. I see see rhaenyra open her arms. I quickly hugged her. "It's ok, alexios. We all knew how much she meant to you. She understood you when no one else did." Rhaenyra said to me. She is right. Laena understood me like no one else. Vaemond was talking when Daemon laughed. "Really, daemon? We're at a funeral. My ex-wife funeral." I said to him. Daemon is going to catch these hands one day. I mean it. Shut up, daemon." My older daughter Ezrah said.

We watched the rest of the funeral. It eventually finished. I stayed by the water. I eventually walked away and joined the others. I was watching the dragons. I see rhaenyra joined us. She walked over to me. "How are you doing?" She asked me. She also checked my side. "I'm not ok." I said. I wanted to lie, but rhaenyra knows when I'm lying. "I'm going to miss her." I said. "I know. But her memories will live on." She said to me.

I nodded. She pulled me into a hug. "Your little cousins have lost their mother. They could use a kind word." Rhaenyra said to Jace. "Why should i?" He said. Rhaenyra sighed. "Jace!" She said to her son. "Please, for me. I'll even come with you." I said to him. "Alright." Me and Jace walked over to my daughter's. I watched how he interacted with them. Rhaenyra soon joined us. I feel daemon eyes on me.

"ignore him." Rhaenyra said to me. "I got you something before we came here. She passed me a small box. "Open it." She said. I opened it to find a necklace with laena wedding ring on. That I got her. "Let me help you put it on." I bented down to rhaenyra height. She put it on me. I grabbed the ring and looked at it. "A memory of her always with you." She said to me. I nodded.

I looked at what rhaenyra looking at. She was looking alicent and her lapdog cole. "I feel like every corner I turn thier there. They have nothing better to do." I said to rhaenyra. "They both are just jealous. Alicent can't have you, and Cole can't have me." I nodded. "True. What was cole fucking idea thinking You'll leave with him and sell oranges. We all know you can't be away from me." I said with a smile. "Plus, I don't think Syrax wants to be homeless and away from Wave." I said.

"Yeah it was fucking ridiculous with cole. Plus, I'll never want Syrax to be homeless and away from her mate. And you're right. I never want to be away from you." Rhaenyra said, then gave me a kiss. I leaned back onto the wall behind me. Dear Lord, I see another child that I don't like. aemond. Rhaenyra patted me in my shoulder. I watched corlys talk lucerys. I sigh. I was playing with the ring on my necklace.

Rhaenys walked past us to get a drink and then walked over to my daughter's. Rhaenyra grabbed my hand. Rhaenyra pulled me into a hug. I buried my hand I to her shoulder. We stayed like this for a while. She rubbed my back. I sighed. "Come on." She led me away. "My daughters." I said. "I'll take care of them, father." Ezrah said to me. I nodded.

It was nighttime. I was near the water with rhaenyra. She grabbed my hand. "Am I going to be ok?" I asked her. She sighed. "Eventually, she was your ex-wife. But I will be there with you to mourn." She said to me. I looked at her. "Thank you. You're the best." We sat for a whole. She laid her head on my shoulder. "You know how to make me feel better." I said to her. "It like only you and laena understood me. I'm glad I had you guys in my life." I said rhaenyra.

"I don't know where I'll be with you with you." I said to rhaenyra. I pulled her closer her to me. "Boring. No fun. I can go on, but I won't." I smiled. We both laughed. "I'm glad laene made you realize your feelings about me. She always told me you had a crush on me. Never believe her." Rhaenyra said. "Maybe you should have. Laena kept coming to me. Always told me that I was lying about my feelings for you. She knew me. She knew me very well." I said to rhaenyra.

"Gods, I will never forget her face when she caught us kissing. Everyone always questioned her why she wasn't mad that her ex-wife moved on. She always told them the same thing. If alexios is happy, then I'm happy." I sighed again. I felt tears leave my eyes. "I'm going to miss her." I said to rhaenyra. "Me too. She was my friend." Rhaenyra said. We sat for another while in silent.

"Alexios?" I turn to see rhaenyra butt ass naked. She walked over to me. She is definitely going to be the death of me.
