*Scene opens on Earth, where we see that it's early in the morning. The camera focuses on the garden shed and the house beside it. A glommite, yawning from the light, is seen in the house through the bedroom window. They roll over on the bed, going back to sleep. Scattered on the ground around the area is sleeping Glommites. Inside the garden shed, Ringo slowly wakes up. Light shines in from outside through the small window that is above the door. Realizing that there's not much room to stretch, Ringo grumbles.*
Ringo: Alright... Time to wake up.
*Bartholomew, who still rests on the larger bad of soil, croaks quietly as he wakes up. The Baby Glommites still lays asleep beside Ringo. Quietly, Ringo picks up the picture on his chest and sits up. He shakes the Baby Glommite with his other hand, and she wakes up.*
Ringo: We can't stay here forever. We need to still find food and water. And, with all those aliens roaming about...
*He sighs, standing up. He holds the picture close to him.*
Ringo: Looks like we'll have to find new places to stay each night. Once they all find out what happened, staying at another house is pretty much out of the question.
*Bartholomew hops towards the door, and Ringo walks over to it. The Baby Glommite follows them. Slowly, Ringo opens the door and peeks out, spotting the sleeping glommites. He takes in a quiet breath and looks down at Bartholomew and the Baby Glommite.*
Ringo: *whispering* We need to be very, very quiet.
Baby Glommite: *nods*
*Slowly, the three exit the shed and travel onto the road. They look around at the abandoned, disheveled houses around them. Many of them have broken windows and doors with chuncks of wood missing. Ringo keeps a tight grip on the picture as they walk quietly down the road. Aside from the houses and the occasional bush and tree, there is not much for them to hide behind. They continue to make their way down the road for a while. Ringo makes sure not to step of any sleeping Glommites on accident.*
Ringo: *whispering* Man... I knew that she sent a lot of them here, but... This is just... Unreal...
*Eventually, they find themselves getting closer to a more crowded area of the city. Ringo pauses, causing Bartholomew and the Baby Glommite to stop. He stares at the road in front of him, looking at the various shops, homes, and buildings that it leads into. There aren't any scattered sleeping Glommites around them, but Ringo knows better.*
Ringo: *whispering* They'll be searching houses like crazy once they get the news. We need to find... We need to find somewhere else to go before they all wake up.
*The Baby Glommite looks around at all the buildings that stretch out in front of them. Bartholomew hops into Ringo's pocket. Ringo and the Baby Glommite walk into the city, looking at the chaos all around them. There are many things scattered all over the ground. They range from bricks to hats to tires. Ringo can't take his gaze off of the buildings. Almost all of them have some damage, and he gulps.*
Ringo: *whispering* I-I'm guessing that all t-those people have either f-fled or are hiding somewhere... Wish I could f-flee too, but...
*He thinks for a moment, looking at the road.*
Ringo: *whispering* B-but I need to save my friends... And the o-only thing that can r-reach Glom is... A ufo...
*Ringo sighs heavily, shaking his head. He looks down at the Baby Glommite.*
Ringo: *whispering* I remember when you told... er... showed me? Whatever. Told me that you know the basic controls of one of them ships. But... Do you know of a-any way to get into one from the outside if its door is closed?
