Alex sighed as she finished up cleaning the kitchen. Brian was due to be home anytime soon, but she knew that was a ruff estimate. It wasn't unusual for Brian to be stuck in the studio, resulting in him coming home later than he would like to be.

She decided that she would sit on the couch with a cup of tea and read a book while she waited for him to get home. She had gotten so engrossed in the book that she didn't hear the door open or the muffled footsteps coming closer.

"Guess who," familiar hands had taken her glass and covered her eyes. She had relaxed into them when she realized who it was.

Smiling, her eyes still covered, "Oh I don't know... hmm are you the devilishly handsome Brian Jones of the hit band The Rolling Stones?"

His hands dramatically drop from her face, putting her glasses back on her.

"DING DING DING! We have a winner you     Mrs. Alex Jones answered all of the questions correctly!" His smile was absolutely enchanting.

"Oh, what do I win for answering all your questions correctly?"

Brian made his way around the couch to Alex.

Leaning down,
"This." He whispers before catching her lips with his. She pulled him down onto the couch so now he was straddling her hips.

He pulled away, and Alex tilted her head, confused.

"No matter how much I want this to continue. I actually have something that I would like to show you." He managed to get off the couch holding out his hand for Alex to take.

Still holding hands Brian leads the couple to their bedroom. He gently grabs Alex's shoulders sitting her down on the bed.

"Close your eyes." Alex's interest was peaked hearing Brian rummaging through something.

"Alrighty are those pretty eyes of your closed?"

The girl hummed in response, as she felt the bed behind her dip his fingers brushed her collarbone then the cold sensation of metal hit.

"open em." Brian had made his way back in front of Alex.

She looked down to see a beautiful heat shaped necklace that adorned her neck, picking it up to look at it.

"Oh, Brian it's beautiful." He found a spot next to Alex on the bed and carefully took the necklace from her hands to show her something.

It was a locket, one that could hold two photos. And the photo on the right was a photo Alex had taken of Brian at their wedding and the photo on the left was a photo Brian had taken of Alex on their first date.

"I know it's super cliché, but I've just been super paranoid recently and I don't know why. I just love you so much and the thought of losing you-" Alex cut Brian's speech short by cutting him off with a kiss.

"I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me forever whether you like it or not, also this is the sweetest gift." Brian smiled. Alex always knew exactly what to say.

The sweet moment was ended however by the booming sound of thunder, followed by heavy rain.

Alex gasped. She leapt out of the bed and pulled Brian with her knowing exactly what to do.

"What are you doing???" He asks as she opens the front door pulling them out in the rain. Hair wet, clothes soaked, glasses foggy, and love seeping out from each others hearts. It was the perfect moment.

"You're not the only one can be cliché!" She giggles out grabbing Brian's face pulling him in for a kiss by his tie. Her hands finding both sides of his face, while his rest on her waist. What more could she want, what more could anyone want? It was perfect.
