9. A Transtemporal Fate

Agent Twilight, an elite spy of W.I.S.E, an intelligence agency of Westalis, was on an important mission to preserve peace by somehow stopping the plans of Donovan Desmond, a Political bigshot of Ostania who's behind all the plans for war between the two countries. For this mission, he took in a young girl and a fake wife, under the name of Loid Forger, to get her enrolled into Eden Academy to get closer to Donovan Desmond. The fake wife, Yor Forger, was a civil servant, but also secretly an assassin who went by as "Thorn Princess". The young girl, Anya Forger, had a secret of her own, she was Telepathy and was aware of everything about her parents.

One day, there was a Science exhibition at Eden Academy and parents were to accompany their kids. There were loads of amazing scientists who were exhibiting their new and greatest inventions. 'These all inventions are smartly made. As I expected for Eden Academy. They are promoting young minds into advanced sciences and later on in the name of patriotism, Ostania will have them create war weapons.' Loid thought to himself looking around at all the cool inventions. 'Wow, that sharp thing is so sharp and beautiful.' Yor thought to herself, as always, mesmerized by sharp objects. 'Everything here looks so Waku Waku!! But the explaination is boring.' Anya thought to herself loosing interest as she heard the scientists explaining their invention.

Anya was getting a bit dizzy as her Telepathy was working and due to the crowd there was too much information for her to process, but one thing caught her attention, 'My time machine will change the world.' she heard someone think. She quickly shook her head and looked for where that came from. After she found that person she started running towards there, "A time machine?? Waku Waku!!" "Oi, Anya, don't run off somewhere." Loid said following after her. Yor too came out of her trance and followed behind. "Anya-san, wait!! Where are you running off to?" Anya paused in front of the cool looking time machine, Loid and Yor on her heels. "Anya, what's wrong?" Loid asked confused that he daughter suddenly stopped. "This thing is so cool!!" Anya exclaimed with her eyes shinning. Loid and Yor looked at the big machine.

The scientist noticed them and started explaining how the machine works, "This machine is still a prototype but it will allow you for a transtemporal travel. However I have yet to figure how to choose the year you want to travel in, that requires deeper quantum mechanics....." Anya was not listening at all, she was looking around at the machine. She found a red button, which seemed to her to be what makes them travel in time. Loid and Yor noticed her and jumped towards her to stop her from pressing the button.

A very bright light, high pitched irritating sound. Loid felt as though his body was being squeezed into a juice. What was happening? Oh right, they were unable to stop Anya from pressing the button, so now they were time travelling. It was hurting very badly, but before Loid knew it, he was suddenly in front of a bar, with Yor and Anya beside him. "Clam!!!" The sound drew their attention towards the the left. There were 2 men with a child standing in front of them and a bottle fallen on the ground. The blonde man looked so pale like he just saw a ghost and the ravenette frowned with his mouth open, while the little girl looked confused.

Now for you to know, The Blonde man and the Ravenette were both hitmen, under the Suwa family's organization. They shared the same apartment since the blonde had discovered that the ravenette's apartment was in an uninhabitable condition. Since then they have been partners in crime, figuratively and literally. The young brunette girl with them, was the illegitimate daughter of a mafia they killed on a mission and since her mother did not want her back, these two have been taking care of her.

"AHHHH!!! HOW THE HELL?? HOW THE HELL DID PEOPLE APPEAR ALL OF A SUDDEN??!!!" The blonde yelled as he looked terrified. "C-Calm down, Kazuki. They look very confused themselves. Maybe we should ask them calmly." The ravenette said. The blonde, Kazuki, cleared his throat and with a very calm demeanor asked. "You're right Rei. Hello I am Kazuki, this is Rei and this is our daughter Miri. Nice to meet you. Hope you don't mind me ask how did you do that?"
