RUPTURES [ AOU × BOOM ]

4 : Manifest

CARBONARA half eaten. Aou ordered the appetizer, the one which probably suited Boom's taste bud. He just making a guess.

"Can i have a cup of chocolate parfait please?" 

"Okay sir." The waiter nodded with a friendly smile on his face. Then he walked away to grant the 'wish'. 

Boom put the fork on the plate and took time to finished his chewing. He normally don't eat much and usually only eat once a day after his grandfather died. He was so heartbroken after the cremation. He just lost everyone he loved. 

The chocolate parfait was put to the table by the young waiter. It looked cute and delicious. Aou gently pushed the parfait closer to Boom. It was for him.

Boom puzzled. Why Aou put the parfait close to him? 

"Dark chocolate stimulate endorphins and act as mood enhancer." Said Aou. He just wanted to help to ease Boom's feeling after what he went through. 

Boom stunned. It was so heartwarming to heard that from Aou. His ears started to feel hot and slowly turned to red. It was the second time. He reached for the plastic spoon and scooped the chocolate ice cream to his mouth.

"How is it?" Aou asked. His face filled with excitement. Boom slowly nodded.

"It's good..." He said. 

"Do you want some?" Boom spontaneously put the spoon filled with ice cream closed to Aou's mouth. He wanted to feed him.

Aou was surprised. So Boom knows how to act sweet too? He wasn't as cold as he looked. 

When Aou was staying still and just stared at him, Boom quickly moved the spoon away. He just realized that he acted ridiculous just now. Aou might dislike the act of service. 

He was about to put the spoon down when Aou smiled and said, "Feed me."

Boom was dumbfounded and didn't know what to do but Aou's hand grabbed his hand and brought the spoon closer to his mouth and fed himself. Again, the touch was warm...

"Uhm, it's good." Aou complimented. Boom quickly pulled his hand away and flushed. 

"Your cheeks..." 

Boom touches his cheeks in panicked. What was on his cheeks??

"Blushed..." Aou added. Boom's eyes became rounder.

Aou chuckled. Boom was shy and totally an adorable human being. Boom quickly scooped the parfait and ate it non stop. He was embarrassed like hell. Aou was so good at teasing people!

Bag on the couch. He was sitting next to it soon after that. That day he turned the lights on earlier than the previous days. It wasn't that gloomy like yesterdays. 

He kept thinking about that classmate who acted kind out of the blue. Aou disliked him, he knows that. He knew how he looks to Aou and his friends' eyes. They called him nerd, freak, weirdo, loser...

But they weren't wrong in calling him all that names because he was indeed a weirdo loser. He kept his distance with everyone and requested to work alone in his assignments and projects. Luckily, the professors granted his requests after episodes of Q and A sessions. 

He tends to break in nervous breakdown when he's around the other people. 

It actually happened a lot in the past. Since he was a little child... He's broken and got the lowest self esteem after what happened between him and his parents. They straight up abandoned him because they said that he was a curse to the family.
