RUPTURES [ AOU × BOOM ]

6 : Devil

12 AM

Boom fell asleep soon after dinner. He was feeling under the weather and needed much rest. Meanwhile, Aou was wide awake while sitting with amulet on his hand. He didn't know why he's involved in this situation and why Boom suffered so much because of his 'special ability'.

It's already past 12 am and he wasn't sleepy at all so he decided to walked outside. Stargazing at veranda all by himself. He took off the temporary amulet before a shower and didn't put it back on his neck after that. The amulet was on the table next to his wallet and phone.

[ BAMBOO TREES SWIPED LEFT TO RIGHT ]

The stars slowly faded through the dark night sky. It was going to rain because the wind started to blow harder than usual. Aou looked around and saw how hard the wind swayed the trees. Then he lifted his face again and stared at the sky.

It turned pitch black.

[ SLAMMED SOUNDS ]

Aou automatically turned around and saw the window next to Boom was wide opened. Slammed to the window frame.

"Oh sh!t!" Aou rushed inside. It was going to rain and Boom will be drench in rain.

[ SLAMMED DOOR ]

Aou almost got hit by the door when he rushed inside. Luckily he was 2 seconds earlier.

He rushed to close the window but it was tight that makes it difficult to move.

[ THUNDERCLAP]

The lightning flashed, wind became stronger along with the rain. Ufff, the window didn't budge! It stucked!

Aou rushed to sleeping Boom and tried to wake him up, "Boom..."

Boom was lied fixed on the bed with no intention of opening his eyes.

"Boom..."

Froze.

Aou was worried sick about the 'lifeless' Boom. What was happening to him? Aou moved closer and put his finger to Boom's nose to checked on his breathing.

[ CLICK! ]

The temporary amulet fell to the floor. Aou put his hand on his own neck and realized that the amulet wasn't there. He forgot to put it back!

He wanted to pick the amulet on the floor but didn't want to leave Boom who was sleeping on the bed. The rain splashes through the unlocked window and hitting both of them.

"HUH!" Boom's eyes fully opened. He was in a deep sleep and nightmare until the rain splat on his face. He quickly moved his head towards Aou who was sitting on the side of the bed, right next to him.

"Aou..." He grabbed Aou's arm. He was dizzy.

"You're awake!" Aou was glad that Boom eventually woke up from his deep sleep. He helped Boom leaving the bed because the rain was raining cats and dogs outside.

The window stucked and they'll get wet.

Aou snatched his denim jacket on the clothing rack and put it on Boom. Boom was a bit sick and he didn't want Boom's health got worse because of the rain. He wrapped his arms around Boom's shoulders and led him away from the window.

He brought them to the wooden table where they had their dinner before. It was pretty far from the window and the splashes of rain won't touch them.

"You're drenched." Aou quickly looked around and saw a towel and used it to wiped Boom's hair.

Boom sat still and let Aou did that to him. It was very heart-warming and he felt so peaceful. The touches was similar to his late grandfather. He missed him so freaking much.
