ALL eyes on the monk who was staring straight at the young man. The silence between them was brutal and scary that drove Aou crazy.

After a while, "You are tied with Boom in destiny."

Aou was confused and needed more explanation about what the monk have said. He was an idiot for this kind of superstitious thing and he admitted it.

The monk called for the assistant and told him to take a secret box that was placed behind the cabinet behind him. He wanted to show something to the both of them.

Boom was very confused too. His mind was filled with thoughts but he didn't let it out. Then their eyes met for couple of seconds.

Win was back with a black wooden box and gave it to the vulnerable. After lines of holy chanting, the monk opened the box and took a piece of white-yellowish paper and unfolded it in front of Aou and Boom.

Their eyebrows furrowed as the paper was shown to them. It was filled with foreign alphabets and it was written by red ink.

"A vow in blood ink."

The monk's words shocked them including Win. The vow? Who wrote it?

"This vow was handed by generations in your father's side of family." The vulnerable said while looking at Boom.

Boom was so shocked that makes him speechless. He was lost for words but slowly gained his guts to read what has written on the paper. He can't seem to understand what was it.

"May I know what was written in this vow?" Boom slowly asked. He knew that only the monk could read and understand the contents.

The monk stared at the paper and started to read it out loud...

BY THE NAME OF DEMON THAT IS TIED TO OUR FAMILY, WE ARE WILLING TO GIVE OUR SOULS TO THE DEMON AND ARE WILLING TO LET THEM DEVOUR IT. WE ARE UNDER THEIR PROTECTION UNTIL THE DOOMSDAY.

Boom's tears started to flow again. It was too painful to hear. Now he is the victim of his own family's bad deeds!

Aou put his hand on Boom's back and caresses him. It was too heavy for Boom and he could feel the sadness especially when he was involved too. Boom didn't know what he supposed to do to break free from the curse.

Especially when Aou was involved too.

WE SWEAR IN THE NAME OF THE DEMON AND THEIR SATANIC RITUAL, WE WILL RENEW THIS VOW GENERATION BY GENERATION. IF WE FAIL, WE ARE WILLING TO BEAR THE PUNISHMENT.

The monk stopped reading, put the paper back into the box. He lifted his face and witnessed Boom who was drawn into his own tears. Almost choked on fear. Next to him was Aou who was trying to calm him down.

"About the ties between you two..."

Aou and Boom lifted their faces at the same time. Waited for the monk's continuation...

"Your family was the guarantor. If they couldn't renew the vow, yours will bear the same punishment."

Aou and Boom gasped.

"Your descendants were friends since 150 years ago."

What?

"But.... How?" Aou slowly asked himself.

"The friendship broken but the curse remains."

Boom shook his head in disbelief. He and Aou were victims of their descendants misdeeds!

"The both of you are tied in destiny in two different ways." The vulnerable added.

"May I know what is it, the vulnerable?" Aou asked.

"In vows and soulmates."

Win automatically looked at Aou and Boom and quickly understood what was it mean. So they were always meant to be together.

"Can we break this curse?" Boom finally talked. He looked up to the monk with tears in his eyes.

The monk sighed, "It would be difficult but we can try."

"But you might die from trying to break free." And he added.

Boom and Aou were stunned. Flabbergasted. Win was included too. He started to worried.

"Go back and come back when the amulets is done." The monk was done with the talks. He slowly left the spot with Win's help.

"I will be back." Win said before walked away with the monk.

"It's okay, we will be okay..." Aou pulled Boom into his embrace after the monk wasn't there anymore. He couldn't stand to see Boom crying and sobbing non stop like that. It was too painful to him.

"I'm sorry..." Boom apologized, stuttered.

"It's not your fault." Aou smiled while caressing Boom's back.

He was the victim too but he was more worried about Boom. He didn't want anything bad happen to him. He suddenly wanted to put him under his protection especially after what the monk have said.

THAT THEY ARE BORN TO BE TOGETHER.

Win came back and escorted them to the homestay, stayed for a while to talked to them.

"Everything is going to be okay. The amulets will be done in the few days." Win said. Just wanted to ease their dark feelings.

Aou nodded, meanwhile Boom was looking out of the window. The beautiful weather didn't helped soothing his 'sickness' like always. He was tragically drowning in emptiness. Just lost all his energy to even speak.

"See you guys later." Win left the house.

Aou walked towards Boom and sat right next to him. Pulled Boom's hands closed to him and said, "Do you want to eat something? You must be hungry."

Boom slowly shook his head and kept on staring out of the window.

"Your hands cold but your forehead is warm." Aou felt the other one's body temperature with his hand.

"You must caught a flu. I will call Win to ask him to drive you to hospital."

"I'm okay." Boom squeezed Aou's hand as a sign to 'don't'.

"But-"

"I'm okay. I'll be okay after a rest."

Aou nodded. He didn't want to force Boom and makes him more upset than he already was. He tucked him to bed and fixed the blanket on him. Out of the sudden, he was willing to do anything for Boom.

He adore him even when he was sleeping.

What a beautiful creation of God.

"Stop staring at me, come and lie next to me." Said Boom with eye closed but hand patted on the bed. Asked Aou to join him resting.

Aou was busted. He was so embarrassed but decided to lied next to Boom. Boom fallen asleep soon after that and letting out cute snores. Aou chuckled, moved closer and lied on his side.

With eye locked on the beautiful Boom, he unconsciously touched Boom's warm cheek with his fingers. The sweet smile formed in his handsome face seconds after that.
