CHAPTER - 8

Anisha's pov

" Mom called me and she thinks you are with me so even if not wanting but I have to drop you home. Don't make me repeat my words again and sit inside " He yelled and I flinched but nodded before sitting inside the car.

In the car the environment was silent. Once this silent used to be the most comfortable for us but now this is choking me. I can't bear this silence anymore.

" I-I am sorry " I murmured breaking the silent bubble in the car.

" See... Anisha I don't give a fuck about your sorry so keep it to yourself and don't think that I will melt watching that fake innocent face of yours. Stop your drama and please behave like everything is normal in front of our family. I don't want to hurt them. Now I don't want to talk to you so shut your mouth "

He scolded me and I looked down at my lap playing with my fingers. Someone has said the truth that the person who loved you the most is the only one who can hate you to death. It's the same case with me and Avi. I wish I could tell you the truth but I can't Avi even if I have to bear your hate for that. I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but still try forgive me. The car came to a halt in front of my house.

" Jaao ab yaa yahin baith ke mera dimaag kharab krna hai? " He scolded.

[ go now or do you want to make me mad now? ]

" Vo toh pehle se hi hai " I murmured under my breath.

[ you are already mad ]

" Kya kaha tumne? " He asked.

[ What did you say? ]

" Kuch nhi. Har cheez me apni naak ghusani hoti hai " I uttered hopping off the car while he just rolled his eyes.

[ Nothing. You have to poke your nose in every matter ]

I entered the house only to meet with tons of questions.

" Where were you? "

" Why are you late? "

" Why your phone was off? "

" Couldn't you just inform us ? "

" What took you so long? "

" Are you ok? "

" Where is my son in law? "

" Why didn't you bring him inside? "

Each member in the family threw questions at me at the speed of light.

" AHH!! STOP IT GUYS!! LET ME TAKE A BREATH " I yelled making them shut.

Heaving a deep sigh I started answering their questions.

" I got an urgent work from office so I had to stay till night. My phone's battery was dead so it got switched off and I also forgot to take the charger with me. Avi met me when I was coming home so he dropped me here and he was getting late so he went to his home instead of coming inside "

I patiently answered and they nodded at each sentence.

" I hope I am clear now " I said.

" Yes yes but did you have dinner? " Bhabhi asked and I passed her an awkward smile.

" Hehe it's ok I will cook maggie " I said walking to my room and I can hear my mom yelling at me but let's ignore her for now.

Entering my room I dropped myself on bed and took a deep breath of relief. I am getting bored now . Should I call Khanak? Yes that's a good idea. She is a late sleeper she must be not sleeping right now.
